In the fourth novella in the Talson Temptation series, Romec “Romy” Talson ‘Or Fal goes to Earth to investigate problems at his family’s shipping port. As an Otra—the race of aliens now living on Earth and elsewhere—he has special abilities and powers, but he’s different even among his own kind. Tara Drake believes she’s human, but she can’t explain her psychic and healing abilities. She lives in the slums and hates the drug runners who are using the Talson shipping business as a means of moving drugs. Then she meets Romy, a supposed drug dealer, but she can’t deny her attraction to him. Romy and Tara were fun characters. Despite the bit of tension between them at first, they got along great and were obviously meant for each other. The sex scenes were super hot, as always with Ms. Harte’s books. I enjoyed this story, but I wish Tara’s mysterious origins had been explained. There were a few typos, but nothing major. Since it’s the last book in the series, the whole Talson family returns, and it was great seeing all the previous heroes and heroines again. I’m sad to see this series end. 4 Stars
Hot men/aliens with strength physically, psychically, and mentally
If you are looking for erotic scifi than look no further. This author writes great short stories that are enticing and keep you reading until your eyes cross. I loved this series about the Talson brothers. I was in the mood for some hot men with strength mentally and physically and these guys hit the spot. This is about the last brother, Romy. He has more powers than any of his brothers and they are sometimes hard to control. He heads to one of the ports that his family owns because something just doesn't add up. He discovers a gorgeous Otra who doesn't know that she is Otra, a warehouse that doesn't have any workers and the man in charge, dealing drugs out of said warehouse. Tara hates the Talsons because of the drugs that they allow to be sold and shipped in her neighborhood. She is a healer of sorts but there is a lot of pain in the area because of the addicts. Can Tara trust and fall for Romy? Can they together clean up the area? Or will the evil dealer win? Read this book to find out the answers. I was left with wanting to read more about several characters. I hope we see more in the future.
Rory’s powers are awesome. And Tara finding out she is Otra, too. Perfect. The storytelling drew me in and their fight with the baddie was enthralling and angsty. Great series.
This is my next fav of the 4 books, after #1. I really enjoyed the interaction between characters - and it seemed like there were a lot more connections between people than in #1 or 2. Quite a bit more activity outside of the sexual escapades, as well, and a bit more heart, which is refreshing. And I always like mutants or aliens that have multiple abilities rather than just one gig, so Romy was pretty cool.
4.5 stars. Best of the series but also sad. Great characters and entertaining intriguing plot with a decent baddie. Really liked this story and the action was great, just sad about Sean. Wish that hadn't happened. I hope we get Mannies story. Reread through Kindle Unlimited. First read through EC years ago. Really hope Ms Harte adds to this series.
I enjoyed it the ending could of been better but I felt that way about all the books it also ended in a way where another book could be made/should be lol
