Blockade CHECKERS focuses on the elements of strategy and game piece maneuvering techniques. A Player's HOME area squares are also the opponent's destination, VISITORS area squares. Players move game pieces from their starting positions, the HOME area squares on one end of a Checker board to their VISITORS squares on the opposing end or corner of the game board. Three Essential Rules make playing these "No Capture" Games on a Checker Board with a limited number of empty spaces available for maneuvering game pieces Possible! The resulting Blockade CHECKERS gaming experiences have unique strategies to discover, and although not a game of Chance, funny surprises may occur! The "Blockade No Forward Moves" command that is called out at the beginning of a turn before making a game piece move is a necessary game feature! When a Player Calls Out "Blockade" Normal turns to make a move become Paused while all of the Player's opponents make a specified Blockade Removing Move. When the Paused game play begins again, the Player that called out "Blockade" resumes their normal turn to make a move. Two and Four Player games must have a "Vacate " command. A Backward Move Option Rule must be available also. Meeting the backward game piece movement Rule requirements enables a Players ability to Call Out "Vacate My VISITORS Area"! "Vacate" is called out at the end of a Players turn to make a move. After "Vacate" has been Called Out by a Player, All of the other Players turns to move a game piece become restricted. Making qualifying Vacate a VISITORS Area game piece movements becomes the only way to take a turn to make a move! A new opportunity for taking a normal turn to move a game piece becomes available if another Vacating move requirement is not being imposed by any of the Opponents. Causing Blockades, setting up and repeating Vacating Move Traps and Isolating game pieces are Two and Four Player Blockade CHECKERS Game Strategies. However, a player must plan ahead and allow for good game piece positioning during the end game or else their game pieces will start to incorrectly assemble on their VISITORS area squares! Effective strategy, must be coupled with efficient game piece maneuvering techniques for good Point System Scores while playing Sets of Solitaire games and during Competion in a Two -or- Four Player Game. Solitaire Blockade CHECKERS games are played without the presence of an opponent's strategy tactics. Therefore, the Vacate My VISITORS Area rule set is not required during a game of Solitaire. When playing Two Player and Solitaire games a WHITE game piece is moved first, a BLACK game piece must be moved after every move that is made with a WHITE Game Piece! To Win a game of Solitaire, complete the occupying of WHITE's VISITORS area squares. A Solitaire Player's game is Declared a Winner when BLACK's VISITORS area is simultaneously occupied after the completion of the last, game ending BLACK Game Piece move! Similarly, a competitive game that ends in the same way as a Winning Solitaire Game does is also a Two Player Game Tie Score!
