Meet Nick. He’s your typical fifteen-year-old orphan from New York City whose whole life is turned upside down when a band of menacing elves break into his home at Lost Star Orphanage. The children are kidnapped, but three are left behind—an aspiring inventor named Gilbert, a free-spirited girl named Emma and, of course, Nick.

An enchanted snow globe sets the trio off on an epic journey across the world to rescue the orphans. Along the way, they befriend an old toymaker, an exiled witch, and a slew of magical creatures they never knew existed. Battling gremlins, escaping yetis, learning the rules of magic—all while unraveling a prophecy inscribed on his snow globe, Nick and his friends arrive to the heart of the North Pole. There, Nick must save his friends (and possibly the world), from a cruel, menacing elf. While doing so, he will discover his family’s ancient legacy.
