The beauty and challenge of Guyana, formerly British Guiana, has drawn a succession of missionaries from the Church of England to South America. Closure of Guyana Diocesan Association in 2022 is a milestone in this mission partnership of which this book is a celebration. ‘Guyana Venture’ is framed by John Twisleton’s service of the Diocese of Guyana whilst addressing two centuries of missionary enterprise. The author has a bond with Guyana as well as the vibrant Anglocatholic faith of fellow missionaries.
