Oops! I started reading this book because I mistakenly thought it was the book recommended to me by the job search group I attend.
Imagine my surprise when I started reading it and discovered it’s a book about children’s ministry.
There are good tips about being encouraging, listening to others, being kind, etc. My favorite is waking up to say “I get to do this” instead of “ I have to do this.” Although written for an audience in the ministry, there’s a lot of advice that can be helpful for every day life as well.
The annoying part is that the author repeats himself several times immediately after making a statement. Several times he repeats the same statement immediately after saying it the first time. See what I mean? Irritating isn’t it?
Perhaps this book is a transcript of a podcast?
It’s a short, quick read. But, it lacks the execution the topic deserves.

It’s a lot of jumbled advice but overall I gave it a 4 because of its golden nuggets for productivity and efficiency. I am excited to put the tips into action in my real life and I will report back with the progress. Very very short book!

I found this to be an easy read with some good tips to help me finish unwanted projects. I believe I will be able to incorporate many of these steps into my life, both at work and at home.

Read this one through work. I give it a solid “it was fine” out of 5. TLDR: do the task you’re dreading first. Felt really repetitive
