I had not read this book in years. I remembered the basic premise. A Special Forces medic does a heroic and yet barbaric act at a battle in Vietnam. He spends the rest of his life trying to cope with the PTSD before his story takes a tragic end.
I had forgotten that I cry like a baby every time I read it. Major Zlotnik, I never served. I tried, but the physical wouldn't let me. Thank you for your service, I'd follow you and the men like you anywhere.
