BRIEF SUMMARY
Andre was introduced to us in book 1 of The Mirage Agency series. He is an Italian playboy millionaire who has hired the Mirage Agency to work on his ad campaigns. Working at the firm is the very shy and always nervous Cassandra/ Casey, who can't help but fantasize about Andre whenever he comes near her. Andre also secretly pines for Casey, and uses the gala for an opportunity to be close to her.

SUMMARY
This story had a sort of Cinderella feel with a different twist to it and I like that. This is a concept that has been used many times in romance novels and never gets old for me personally, as long as I enjoy the book. Along with that concept, the book also reminds me of a Harlequin Presents but with much more spice added to it. Between book 1 and book 2, The Mirage Agency has seen a lot of sexual action and tension in that building, and if those walls could talk they would say a lot. Book 1 was a novella and very erotic but book 2 also has its erotic moments, but the story is a little longer and detailed. I enjoyed both Andre and Casey's characters; they were so cute once they came together in the book and everything started to unfold. We got to see a bit of Milo and Casey from book 1 as well as Anya, not so much James.

I really have no dislikes about the book and can't wait to read the third book in the series. I don't know who the next story will be about but I have my fantasy next list. I really liked Anya and James; we read about them in book 1 and book 2. There is obviously more to Anya that needs exploring, I don't think James even realizes that she is rich. The next story I would like to see is probably Jason or Philippe, Jason is Andre's associate and Philippe is Andre's younger brother. However, if I had to choose, I choose Philippe.

Cassandra is overwhelmed when she finds out Andre is attracted to her, after all what could he possibly want witha nobody when he could have anyone he wanted, if Andre gets his way she is about to find out.

Seriously only bought the book, because my friend Jake is the cover model, but I loved the book! Was a bit strange me picturing my friend as Andre, (usually I let my mind tell me what the character looks like, no matter the cover) but I quickly got over that. A great, fast read.

This was a sweet and quick read. Liked that although Andre was a super duper rich and famous bachelor he was incredibly down to earth and when he loved it was with his whole heart. I always enjoy when the heroines are shy and introverted and just waiting for the right man to break them out of their shell!

Andre and Casey. I really loved this story. Andre and Italian fashion designer , from a privileged life. Casey a regular hometown girl, that had some tribulations that lead to her needing a restart. So she move to Washington DC. Got a job at a marketing firm and finished college courses on line. The marketing agency handled Andre fashion lines. Not how they met but keeps the story interesting.

I loved this story! To be fair I've loved all of the Mirage Agency stories up to this point, this one included. This story gives you the opportunity to learn more about Andre Lavin who was first introduced in Beg for It and then is the subject of Casey's fantasies in Casey's Night In. When he is introduced to us in Beg for It we are basically told he is a suave, sophisticated, and extremely handsome Italian playboy who is making it big in the fashion world. But AfA let's us really get to see inside his head and find out what makes him tick. I know many readers have commented on this being like any other harlequin romance where the rich guy wants the weirdly attractive and shy tomboy but I'm OK with that.

I've never been rich so I can't say that I know for a certainty but I would think anyone in that kind of position would get sick of the drama. Never knowing when someone wants to be with you because of your money or for just you! Casey is a shy and fairly serious tomboy so it's no surprise that Andre would be attracted to her so quickly. She was probably one of the first women who didn't just jump all over him and try to get into his life for money's sake. Most people would notice those who are trying desperately to get our attention more than someone shy and timid who doesn't speak up a lot but when you are bombarded by that kind of demeanor all day long, suddenly the silent quiet types are inevitably going to stand out more since you're so used to the attention at that point, not getting it is much more evident.

I really liked the characters in this story and so appreciated the alternating POVs of Casey and Andre. There were definitely more individuals that you got to know in AfA than in Beg for It, which I enjoyed. Philippe and Jason were very integral parts of the story and I appreciated that even in such a short story, Minx was able to give them both rich and realistic back stories that really opened your eyes as to why they are the way they are. Minx is wonderful at giving us a rainbow of different types of characters which I appreciate because that is how life is.

I will say that Andre and Casey's story was very, very similar to Beg for It. An ongoing attraction that neither come forward and just say, a sexual proposal that our male leads hope will turn their love interests' head in their direction, and a handsome and exotic ladies man with a shy and demure secret admirer. Although Beg for It and AfA really were basically the same story, I still love them for what they are meant to be; good storyline, interesting characters, great sex scenes, and ridiculous drama, where boy and girl get together in the end and all is happy in the world.

OK to be honest, I really loved these stories for the steamy and intense sex scenes! That's really what I'm reading these for. Loved the balcony and bathroom moments with Andre and Casey, so hot! I can't even help it. I only have a couple, kind of, negative remarks, which as you can see, did not affect my review of this story:

*Andre's Mother is introduced as quite a character but I would've liked to have seen an Andre/Mother confrontation instead of just a Mother/Casey confrontation. She seemed like such a great character that I would've liked to have seen more from her.

*What's up with Law and Anya? "He made a remark that caused her to turn her back on him." What happened?! I want to know! They've been introduced in both stories now and so I'm hoping her TBD book 3 will open up their story more.

All in all I would definitely recommend these stories to those who are looking for a modern romance with very erotic overtones.

I would not recommend if you take issue with exhibitionism (one very, very hot balcony scene at a company party) or sex in a public restroom at the office.

Casey works as a receptionist for an advertising company, and she has the biggest crush on their biggest client, Italian fashion designer Andre Lavin. Everything points to him being smitten with her as well, but she refuses to see it. Handsome, rich, powerful men like him just don't fall for the plain Janes like her. Or so she thinks.

A night out at the company gala, a few too many glasses of champagne, one sexy Italian, a dark balcony and the accidental voicing of her thoughts about wanting love lessons and Andre seizes the opportunity. He proposes to show her everything she's missing. They share a scorching hot encounter on the balcony, but before he can tell her he wants more than just a fling, she runs from him. She's mortified that her actions could have been discovered by her co-workers at any time and cost her her job. Luckily for her Andre doesn't give up easily.

Casey hopes that Andre will just forget their balcony interlude at the company gala, but he has other plans. When Andre Lavin's mother notices the attraction between the two, she confronts Casey and basically intimates that she's not good enough for the likes of her son. Casey is crushed but has to admit that she's thought the exact same thing. Staying away from him proves difficult when he corners her at every opportunity. He proposes to give her what she wants – one night of pleasure to learn anything and everything he can teach her about passion.

Their night together proves to Andre what he has felt for a long time, that she is the perfect woman for him. In turn Casey gets to live out her wildest fantasy and store the memory away before she ends things. When a photo surfaces in a gossip rag showing the two of them together, the headline intimates that Andre is cheating on his fiance, and Casey is devastated. Not only has their barely there relationship been exposed to her boss, but to the world she looks like the other woman. Andre refuses to let anyone or anything ruin the happiness he knows he can have, and pulls out the big guns to finally win Casey over.

I loved this story. It was sexy, funny, and Andre made me swoon. I love a man who refuses to let his friends or family influence who he can and cannot date. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Senora Lavin! Casey is adorable when she's flustered. And I loved her friend Anya. She was feisty and loyal, and her meddling was more than welcome.

Anya pulled Casey to her feet and surveyed her from head to foot. "If you would take the granny bun down and lose those outdated clothes you would actually be hot. And of course get a better bra." She cupped Casey's breasts, pushing them up higher on her chest.
Casey stood stunned for a moment before jumping back so fast she bumped into the filing cabinet. "Anya! What are you doing? Are you feeling me up?"
"Don't complain. This is probably more action than you've had in months."

If you're a fan of romantic comedies with a lot of steamy scenes to get your blood pumping, then this is the story for you. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

My Review:
Casey has been working at the Mirage Agency for three months and she has spent much of that time lusting after one of their very high-profile clients, Andre Levine. The issue is that Casey is shy and introverted and doesn't have very much self-confidence. She doesn't think that she has a chance with this international playboy, but she just hasn't been paying attention to the steamy looks that he's been sending her way.

I really loved Casey's character. She was such a normal person. She's very quiet and introverted, but really smart with a great intuition for the advertising business. Even as quiet as she is, her ideas have already been noticed and recognized at the advertising agency where she works. Everything about her seemed real which was a huge contrast to Andre's character, which was so much larger than real life.

Andre is an Italian fashion designer. He is a direct descendent from the deposed Italian monarchy and has been raised at the very pinnacle of society. He doesn't have to work, but chooses to because he loves what he's doing and gets satisfaction from that. He's polished. He's urbane. He's completely sophisticated. Oh, and he's Italian so he has a fabulous accent. What's not to love?

I loved how both of these characters are pretty ignorant to the other's matching lust. They are both so aware of each other, but not the very basic of that awareness. Andre is completely distracted when he is at the agency and even away from it although he is working on one of the biggest projects of his life. Casey is a blundering mess...constantly dropping and bumping into things when Andre is around. It's very sweet and endearing.

This book was simply fun and sexy. It had a great cast of characters from Andre & Casey to Law & Anya (maybe a future book here???) It was a lot of fun to see Andre and Casey dance around each other and finally give into their sexual chemistry. The advertising agency continues to be a fun setting and I am enjoying the story lines that Minx is creating here.

I loved this book, This is based on the novella of Casey’s night in, I believe that this is the bigger story between Andre and Casey, I love how Andre stood up to all who did not think Casey was suitable for him, all the meddling that they did, still did not alter his course, he wanted Casey and didn’t care what others said or did, Andre’s Mother is in this one, she is a piece of work, glad she isn’t my mother, Andre just wants to be with Casey but Mrs Lavin does not want that to happen, she is trying to marry him off to the right family, This is a classic fairy godmother story, with Anya as the fairy godmother, I loved her character, she made me laugh on more than occasion. In this book we got to hear more about how Andre felt towards Casey, the sex was hot, well worth a read, especially if you loved Casey’s night in, this is just the longer version, 5/5

was a short read, only 7 chapters but it was good. the hot story of a woman that has been quietly in love with one of the clients at the advertising firm she works at & the same client who is also smitten with her but not that she would know. At a mandatory appearance for a gala for her work Casey runs into Andre(the client) & they have a meeting of their own out on the balcony of the hotel. After realizing what she's done she takes off expecting him to leave & go back to Italy. What she doesn't know is that he's decided to stay until he can get with her again permanently. He finally breaks her down & she makes a decision to spend time with him, but his mother has different plans for him than her. Taking her backing away from his newest venture she thinks that she can force her son to come to her reasoning & marry who she wants him to marry...not be with Casey who she doesn't think is worthy of her son. Walking away is all Casey can do to save Andre's business but he doesn't care & when new backing appears he makes it known that he's made his choice. Wish that we would've seen a little more....did mommma contest the wedding or did she even show up? did she finish college & work for the company she was working for just in a different department or did Andre bring her into his company? did she have any surprises after their impromptu union in the ladies room at her work where no protection was used? what did her mother think about her being with this important man? So many questions & no answers.

Andre,a reluctant well-bred entrepreneur falls in lust with Casey, a girl working in a marketing firm he's doing business with. It's a fairytale romance, since Casey has followed and lusted over Andre for a long time. Suddenly her dreamboat is real and he's teasing and flirting with her, eventually falling for the working girl. This story takes place mostly from Casey's POV. I think there was gap in the story since we really don't know what the hot Andre loved the most about Casey. He's used to starlets and models. What makes Casey so appealing? The sexual attraction is obvious, but a HEA always needs a deeper reason. I liked both characters but I didn't feel Andre's depth as much, and I actually worry that Casey is going to get taken advantage of. Still, any "Cindarella" story is a good story. We all need a few of those in our lives to keep our daydreams sparking. Nice read!

Nice short read. Loved him and loved some of the hot scenes. What is it about the phrase "ride my face" that makes me wriggle in my chair!!

I would have liked more background on Andre and his thoughts, so that I could have put him in my beloved "damaged and dominant" category, but from what I got he was just a skilled and generous lover...wait did I say "just" before s"killed and generous lover"?, sorry some of these authors have spoiled me to real life!
