True Legacy continues the saga of Thomas St. Clair, a Scottish immigrant who becomes a naturalized citizen in 1904 and vows to start a new clan of St. Clairs in America. After raising six children, Thomas and his wife Bonnie finally take a trip to Scotland to visit his beloved St. Clair clan in the fall of 1929. He returns with renewed dedication to their farm in Illinois. Thomas' plan for a new family business is threatened by the stock market crash of 1929, but his strong religious faith guides the clan through the challenges they face during the Great Depression and the turmoil of World War II. The St. Clair clan experiences joy and sorrow, endures financial hardship and struggles to overcome family rivalries. Family ties grow stronger in time since Thomas had instilled in them the time-honored belief that they must work together for the good of everyone in the clan. His ultimate goal is to leave a legacy for his children and all the generations to come. Would that legacy be monetary or perhaps something more?
