1.5. Why I rated it low: The writing — this book needed some serious time with an editor and at least another draft to polish the writing. 1) It was all telling and no showing, which meant we were never immersed in the world. 2) The dialogue was clunky paragraphs filled with exposition. It felt incredibly unnatural and awkward. 3) Repetitive sentences, with slight variation or engagement.
NLOGs-vibe and the fact (almost) every woman is just there to be bashed on. Heifers, whores, cardboard cutouts to be degraded by the men in Arizona’s life, just so you can see how different they treat her. The only women not approached this way are people who I assume are the main characters from the main books and the plus-size stripper who lacks confidence — but don’t worry, the author is there to follow up her negative comments about thin women with remarks about how “real men” want plus-size cushion. Like, if the FMC only shines because every other woman around her is an evil harpy, is she all that shiny?
Plot, Pacing, and who is Bash? Why are we getting chapters from his POV? I use the way Bash and Jace are introduced (through random POV chapters before they encounter Arizona) as an example of how the through line for this story just isn’t there, making this feel like a stream-of-consciousness first draft.
A lot is going on in side stories that is just dumped as word vomit, and we don’t really get to see how it actually impacts Arizona. It’s odd the things that are glossed over and the places where nothing is happening, but the author chooses to spend a lot of time in dialogue or extending a scene.
Also, the guys rotate in and out in bizarre ways. I found myself curious how this would have fared if we only had the college or only had the MC/strip club. Without these two storylines, could we have seen a more focused story with better world-building?
Things I liked: - RH isn’t a friend group, and only two of the MMCs know each other. Arizona’s a 20 year-old-girl with a ticking clock, so it’s nice to see her date around and explore her options. -I was completely suckered in by the mystery of who her future husband was after she started getting texts. I was ready to DNF at multiple points, but this kept me going.
Read as part of the Dark/Bully Reader Challenge for August/September.
well, this book was interesting to say the least🧍🏾♀️quite unserious at times
i randomly saw this book on kindle unlimited and decided to give it a read
it was marketed as an RH, but can you really consider it that if the guys don’t know about each other?🫤 not until the 65% mark did all parties involved really learn about each other and were just okay with the circumstances???? it was basically like “i want her, y’all want her, we might as well share her” be fr
i think this book could’ve easily been about 200 pages shorter. we had a bunch of plot lines, especially in the beginning, that didn’t enhance the story in anyway, it basically was there just to be there. yet for a book so long, i felt like i was missing details to certain things and we left a lot of plots open ended
i felt like we kept being introduced to characters with no background and or prior knowledge, granted this book was a spin off of a duology, and maybe i would’ve found some of these characters in those books, but we didn’t even get a line to give us SOMETHING about the character. like “josh came into the room” who the hell is josh????😟
i could even say that for some of the MMC’s. i couldn’t tell you a single thing about bash or jace except for they’re in some motorcycle club
i don’t even want to entertain our big plot line with her having that arranged marriage. everything i read from that made me feel gross
in my head, this could’ve been an MMF romance, with Knox, Draco, and Arizona, because let’s be serious, the author kept hinting at that just a bit (knox’s internalized thoughts about draco, i think he’d be down)

A bargain, a lie, a debt and a ruthless, cunning sadistic man. That's what the premise of this emotionally charged book is about. Ari has one year of freedom before she has to fulfill the bargain her father made, to marry her off to pay for the family's debt. Sickened and horrified, Ari is determined to make the most of her short freedom. And boy does she ever! I absolutely love her character. She's vulnerable but tough and I adore her fun loving, snarky side. She knows what she wants, when she wants it and makes no apologies! When she suddenly finds herself attracted to more than one man, the fun really begins! The guys are all so different but give Ari exactly what she needs, love, tenderness and some mind-blowing sex! It is Bre's brilliance which brings so much drama, so much emotion and so much excitement to this wonderful story. A well developed storyline, beautifully paced that I couldn't put down and a Harem with the most diverse guys. I love all the guys, their strengths and fears, I couldn't help falling in love with them all, well maybe Bash has a slight edge. Behind his tough, couldn't care facade, he's a pussy cat. The twists were unexpected, especially towards the end, I was horrified when Ari...no, I'm not going to say. You have to read the book to find out. What are you waiting for???
What happens when your parents screw up and you're left to clean up their mess? Arianna aka Arizona learns that the hard way.
Her dreams and aspirations to finish school and live her own life are flushed down the toilet when she finds out her family is in serious financial trouble. Her father makes a deal to help their situation, but it ends up turning Arianna's life upside down. With only a year of freedom left, she takes off to live her best life in the time she has left.
Along the way, she meets a dominating professor, a sexy neighbor, and two hot bikers who belong to a notorious MC. She also makes unbreakable friendships. Even with the constant threat of the future looming overhead, she makes the best of her time in Memphis.
This story had so many ups and downs. I wasn't sure what was going to happen next. I was constantly left on the edge of my seat. Oh, and I can't forget all the spice! I'm a sucker for a harem of hot men and a curvy female main character!
Absolutely loved it. Once again this lady nailed a 5 star read. This book from start to finish had me turning pages as I got more engrossed into it. This is Arianna aka Arizona story and how she came to Memphis and met her 4 gorgeous guy's. I'm not going to give thing's away you just need to read it. It is a standalone, but it does mention character's from her other book's called Saving Memphis and Finding Memphis, which were amazing stories that you need to check out if you haven't already.
Exactly what you would expect from Bre Rose. A perfect happy ever after for Arianna. Her four guys are perfection. Couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting.
This is my first book by Bre Rose, and I honestly didn't know what to expect going in. I REALLY enjoyed this biker/mafia tale - at about 20% in, I was completely hooked. It's a well-paced read with an intriguing plot and plenty of spice!
Arizona is a gem - despite growing up, living an elite lifestyle, she's determined, hardworking and intent on living her best life. When daddy dearest decides he wants to elevate his status and eliminate his debts, he sells her! Ever determined, Arizona negotiates one year of freedom before this arranged marriage... one year to live her life as she chooses, wherever she wants, no rules...
Landing in Memphis, she's immediately noticed and sought after by many men. Although, only four of catch her eye and peak her interest.... these men aren't friends (and most don't even know each other)... However, this sassy FMC knows what she wants and she will not accept anything less. Not looking for anything permanent, will she be able to say no to this delicious foursome? Will they be able to accept this unusual relationship? and Will one year be enough for Arizona or will her past catch up to her?
I love that this book incorporated both mafia and biker vibes - I really wasn't sure how that was going to mesh, but Bre executed perfectly. The mix of men was so unexpected - the sweet neighbor, the dom professor, the two MC men - I really appreciate how they all came together. They each had such different relationships with Arizona, but, they all fit so perfectly together. Although the path the HEA was full of obstacles, the ending was oh so satisfying! She's created an intriguing world, and I hope she continues to expand. (Definitely downloading the Memphis duet to read Ash's story). Highly recommend this if you're looking for a stand-alone RH with with mafia/MC vibes!!
Not only did bre do a damn thing .... she brought it. She knocked it out of the park and brought it back with this one! I didn't think i could love her anymore with finding Memphis but damn was i wrong. Jacey boy I've loved him since i first met him!!! Arizona is just the best! Her and her men are everything. This is definitely a top read of 2022 for me . Not only was i on the edge of my seat ,but I couldn't put it down!! So many twist and turns and so much suspence .....5 stars just wasn't enough . Seriously run dont walk you won't be sorry!!!
You will never look at pigs in the same way again!!!!
We have already met Arizona (Arianna) in the Memphis Duet, but we never knew what brought her to Memphis and specifically to the Memphis Hellions club. Well Unbreakeable is her story.
Leaving her life behind, she has twelve months to have her fun before she goes back to the life her parents have arranged for her. Her new life leads her to dance in the Hellions club making a name for herself and catching the eye of four guys both part of the MC and outside in normal life.
Can she keep the life she wants and the men she loves? Or will she be forced to return to the life that has been arranged for her?
I absolutely loved Arizona's story. Seeing how the men in her life rally around her to give her exactly what she needs in her life. Bre has filled in a few of the gaps that we were left with asking at the end of Saving Memphis and although you do not have to read the Memphis duet to understand this story, it will connect some of the dots and characters if you have read them first.
As for my headline, well you will just have to read the book to understand.
All in all an amazing story that I couldn't put down and I can't wait to read more of the Hellions stories.
Bre Rose’s first book in her ‘Memphis Hellions’ series is certainly breaking ratings with the readers. The author has started a new series which incorporates characters from her ‘Memphis Duet’ making it even more exciting. This story is about Arizona, the amazing pole dancer at Hell’s Desire and the secret she’s keeping from her guys. Arizona not only dances at the club but she also teaches Ashley and Vee how to dance, goes to college and has a relationship with four guys. She’s so busy, it makes me exhausted just thinking about all she does. This book is so full of adventure, suspense and steamy situations that was so riveting I couldn’t put it down until the very last page. This book didn’t end on a cliffhanger but I can’t wait to see what comes next. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!
Bre Rose is a new to me author and Unbreakable surprised the hell out of me. I throughly enjoyed this story, with its fierce FMC and four very different men.
Arizona is on borrowed time. With only a year of freedom, she’s determined to live her best life. When she catches the eye of not one by four men, Arizona tries to keep them at a distance. With her past catching up to her, can Arizona keep the life she’s always dreamed of?
I loved Arizona. She embraced her sexuality. She’s also a sassy, strong, independent FMC and gave as good as she got. I liked that her guys were different and didn’t know each other from the start.
Unbreakable is full of drama, friendship, spice, secrets, and action. It’s a fast burn, dark reverse harem that sure to catch your attention.
Bre has done a wonderful job giving us Arianna/Arizona's story. We first met Ari in The Duet. Ari is given a year of freedom before she will be sold off in marriage to pay off a debt. She goes to Memphis to live as full a life as she can while she can. She makes friends and becomes attached to 4 guys. Her harem is so diverse and will do everything they can for her. Ari knows what she wants and goes after it but is a year enough- can she walk away? Bre has such a way with building her characters slowly, bringing out their strengths and melding the connections between characters. Her world building is wonderful and she guides us through the danger, a horrible bargain with Ari's father, twists and turns of her plot, the attraction and growth of Ari's harem as they learn to work together. Bad guys to hate and 4 amazing men and Ari to love. A great story- not to be missed.
Bre you have done it again. In this story we meet Arizona a girl who has her whole life turned upside down in one moment. Given 12 months to do as she pleases until she has to fulfill her father’s demands and marry one of his associates. So she does, she runs.
Characters: I loved Arizona- she is confident in her own skin, strong and just amazing The men- ooofffff where do I begin. 1 x sweet as hell neighbour 1 x daddy Dom professor 2 x biker men who couldn’t be more opposite to each other. But they all have 1 thing in common HER
This story keep me up all night cause I just needed to know what would happen. And I loved it!
This story can be read as a stand-alone however does following along with Ash’s story in Saving Memphis so I highly recommend reading that duet first.
This set up by Bre is amazing! The blurb got me good and I was expecting a really good story. I got way more then that let me tell you. Ari has one year of freedom before she most uphold her end of the bargain and marry because her father had debts. Now Ari is determined to make the most of it and does she do this in the epic way! Now she meets a few guys and she is instantly attracted to the guys. Each bring in their own piece and give something to Ari which she was craving for. It is a must read book!
Bre Rose is back with her Memphis Hellions and its with a side character we all fell in love with Arizona!! This book was amazing I couldn't put it done and I want more!! The feels of this book, the connection I felt with the characters are amazing. I love the depth and the storyline drew me in and held me until I was done and then left me wanting more!
Given 1 year to live her life her way Arizona finds her self in a new town doing the one thing she only ever wanted to do, dance. While there she makes as a new life for herself a new "family" and falls for 4 guys that she cannot see herself giving up on. But what happens when her past comes knocking on her present and futures door leads to some not so pretty twists and turns before she can come out on the other side.
I loved this book Arizona and the guys I read this book basically in one go and no wonder I was up late over 500 pages but so worth it ! I just couldn’t stop reading I had to know how it ended ! I love how this is Arizonas story but also Ash’s story comes into it as well and how you see some things from the Memphis duet books from a different perspective in here . Even though this is a stand-alone I highly recommend you read Memphis duet before this, besides the fact it gives you a better understanding of this book the duet was an awesome read ! Highly recommend reading this !!
I would rate this more than 5 stars if I could. This one is all about our awesome, kick butt Arizona. She has one year to enjoy her life before she has to return home and pay the debts of another.
This story is a part of the Memphis Hellions universe. This book runs before and during the time of Finding/Saving Memphis. So if you haven't read them, you should not to give yourself spoilers while reading Unbreakable.
Arizona is a strong woman, witty, and loves to dance. She also loves to have a good time and loves being surrounded by hot men (who wouldn't, am I right?). She finds herself dancing at the MC's strip club. Having read the previous books, it was fun to see the events unfold on this side as I know they did in Ash's story.
There is hot, hot, so hot moments, so be warned. Your pacemaker might not be able to handle it. Bre Rose writes a steamy scene that's hawt and will make you envious of the people involved. A must read for the lovers of RH.
I had the pleasure of BETA reading this and it was super good. I'd go as far as say it's Bre's best work yet.
This is Aris's story who we met in The Memphis Duet. She is in town for a year as her last bout of freedom before her Dad forces her home to marry her off to someone as payment for his debts.
While she's in TN she meets four men and falls for them and they are all so different and parts of totally side of the tracks. She has two men from the local MC a professor from her college, and a fellow college student.
What happens though when her soon-to-be fiance is sick of waiting his year for her and wants her NOW? He shows up and takes her and what follows is agony.
Will her men know to come find her? Will they get there in time before she is a wife?
I've been so excited for Arizona's story since reading the Memphis Duet, and it was absolutely amazing!!!
Ari is such a strong FMC. She is so sassy and I love it!!! She just wants to enjoy her life and do what she wants before she is forced into an arranged marriage. Then, she meets 4 guys she can't get out of her head. She keeps telling herself she won't catch feelings, but we know how that works out 😂
I love this world so freaking much, and I can't get enough. Ari is the best, her guys are all smoking hot but I want my own Knox!!!
Omg I LOVED this story!!! Arizona is such as phenomenal character. She’s strong, fierce and knows what she just wants her freedom and to dance. But her future is sold by her father to wipe away his financial debt. He ‘graciously’ gives Arizona a year to have freedom until she’s to return home and marry this unknown man. She meets Knox, Draco, Bash and Jace which tip her world upside down. What she thought she wanted in life just grew Exponentially. Each guy is so different and brings their brand of special to the table. It’s not all roses and sunshine as they need to learn how to function in such a different relationship but damn if they’re not willing to try because no one os giving up Arizona. This will prove extremely beneficial as Arizona’s ‘freedom’ is up and the man she was sold to comes knocking. I loved everything about their unique story. A little MC, a little mafia, drama, tension and action and let’s now forget about all the yummy steaminess!
I loved this book so freaking much! We got our first glimpse of Arizona in the Memphis Duet and I’m so happy to have her story! She is such a strong, sassy, independent fmc and I loved everything about her! I also love that her harem wasn’t friends before meeting her. They had to navigate their relationship with Arizona as well as each other. And they are so different from each other but just perfect for what she needs.
This book has action, drama, secrets, suspense, mystery, friendship, heartbreak, spice and ends with a HEA! It had me hooked from the first chapter and I didn’t want to put it down! I can’t wait to see who else gets a book in this series!
This book is based off a character introduced in another of Bre Rose’s books, but can be read as a standalone and is a RH. Arizona has had an interesting life, right down to her father selling her off in an arranged marriage! Arizona is drawn to 4 different men in Memphis, Tennessee. There is a lot of action and steam in this book and is very enjoyable. Arizona and her 4 men have a rather unconventional relationship, but they make it work for them. If you haven’t tried Bre Rose’s books, then you really should! I am voluntarily leaving this review.
I loved reading Arizona’s story. Her struggle with how to move forward between family loyalty that didn’t deserve it and her own happiness was amazing to read.
The harem was hard won in this book as well, it wasn’t instalove on their parts, and their struggles were interesting to read as they dealt with their feelings, age gap issues, and how free Arizona is. Why choose is a hard concept, and this was really well done.
Excited to read what’s next and enjoyed the twists and turns in this story.
So I loved Ash's story in the Saving Memphis duet, so I was excited to get Arizona's story. I knew it would be good because all of Bre Rose's books are good, but this book was amazing! I couldn't put the book down and just wanted more! This is a standalone, but the characters have more depth, if you have read the duet first.
Arizona made me laugh out loud so many times with her sassiness and her brutal honesty about her desires. She is definitely the type of character that I would want to be best friends with! Now the harem is certainly unique and I would have never thought they would find a way to make it work. Having two MC members, a dominant alpha, and a college friend doesn't seem like a group of guys that are going to fit together, but somehow it completely works. They all give Arizona something she needs and desires. In the end, they form some unlikely friendships that make for some steamy scenes!
Not only did Bre Rose make me love Arizona and her harem, but she made me so invested in some of the side characters. I cannot wait for more books in this world so that I can get glimpses' of Ash and Arizona again, but also to see more into these side characters' lives.
I really enjoyed this book. Arizona was a somewhat mysterious character in Ash’s duet and I really wanted to know her story. I like that Ari is her own person, not caring what people think of her or her job. She’s true to herself. I like all her guys but Knox is my favorite, followed by Jace. I like the sweet ones. With this being a standalone, I did feel like we missed a little bit of getting to know the guys as much as we would in a series, but that’s not a complaint. Just me being greedy lol. I’ve been a Bre Rose fan since her first book and she does not disappoint
Bre Rose did it again! I absolutely loved Arianna & her men, it was so amazing I finished the book in less then 24 hours. I just couldn't put it down. It was so intense and Alexander got what he deserved. I was excited for his sons to get closure and man Arianna's dad really had that coming at him. But I loved Ari's men; Knox, Draco, Bash & Jace. All different but all loved her with a fierce passion and it made me swoon! If you haven't read it yet, you must cause it's going to be a book you can't put down or forget!
I have been waiting for Arizona’s story since the end of the Memphis Duet and it did not disappoint. I was fascinated by Ari from the very beginning and she remains one of my favorite women…strong, fierce, loyal, confident, and always comes back swinging. She never gives up, no matter how much she wants to and while she draws strength from her men, she’s never dependent on anyone else to fight her battles.
She has an amazing harem that is made of very dominant men who are all ultimately able to work together for the love of their woman. Even though Bash takes a while to get his head out of his a**, the others are super supportive of him and because they love Ari, they work to help him move through his issues. Knox and Jace show the softer sides but are no less dominant and fit Ari equally as well. And then there’s Draco, the true Dom. I really would love to have more of this harem and see more of their life together as a unit. Maybe in future books we will see more of them!
I loved Arizona’s story! She is hard working, sassy and doesn’t mind speaking her mind. She just wanted to live her best life before she had to go home for an arranged marriage. Out of all her men, Jace is my favorite because he seemed the kindest and Draco was my least favorite because he was an arrogant jerk. This book was an amazing read and was great to see some familiar characters from Ash’s books. If you are looking for a standalone read with a sassy female dancer, MC men, a hot teacher, and an arranged marriage than you should check out this book!
This is my first book from Bre Rose, and I’ll admit I didn’t realize it was part of an interconnected world, but I don’t think that took anything away from me being able to enjoy it. Will I now be going back to read the Memphis duet? Yes, yes, I will.
Having been sold by her dad to pay his debt, Arizona bargains for a year of freedom and heads to Memphis. She meets several men who give her the different things she needs, and while she makes it clear that she is leaving in a year, she still falls for them.
I enjoyed Arizona immensely; a big draw for me is that even if she comes from money, she doesn’t behave like an elite jerk, unlike her parents. She knows what she deserves and goes after it with everything she has. She’s super sex-positive and is completely down for a one-night stand. She also has no problem sticking up for herself outside her family.
I enjoy it when all the guys don’t know each other already, and you get a different vibe when they aren’t already part of the same friend group. Arizona’s harem consists of Knox, Draco, Bash, and Jace. Knox is 100% the boy next door, and try as he might, he can’t get Arizona out of his head and wants to be her boyfriend even when she’s made it clear she’s not looking for that. Next up is Draco, who she meets at the first strip club, she works at, and he’s just looking for a new sub, nothing serious. That brings us to Bash and Jace, cousins in the Memphis Hellions MC. Bash struggles with the age gap between them, which causes him to second guess things and puts him on the outs with her. Jace, however, listens to her and doesn’t push anything; the two start out as friends.
I can admit that I get a little sad when there is no sword crossing in a RH, but it’s not the end of the world. I enjoyed all the spicy moments this book had to offer, and there is a decent amount of them
If you enjoy MC romances with some mafia vibes you will absolutely enjoy this!
Arc Reader Didn’t know what to expect when I started reading this book and I was pleasantly surprised. Right from the start you know Arizona/ Arianna is going to be a strong character and she doesn’t disappoint. I love how she meets all of her men and how they are all different. Knox seemingly innocent but comes into his own, Draco Daddy Dom , Jace fun loving easy going bad boy and Daddy Bash these guys are a weird combo but they work. My only criticism is I would have loved to have had a longer series with more books and more depth into each guys and Ari’s relationship. Would have also loved more interaction within the Harem just seemed crammed into one book. Still a good read, really enjoyed it !!
