"If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you run. "
Nine years ago, Elisa Haley set tongues wagging when she returned home from college single and pregnant. Finally, her long-delayed graduation is just weeks away. She s ready to move out and move on to a bright, shiny future in another state until a face from her past walks into her brother s veterinary office. A man who once offered her one night of comfort in his arms. The memory burns as hot in her soul as the guilty secret he must never learn.
Tired of the big city, grieving a recent loss, Dr. Liam Barton longs for a home and family in a quiet small town. When he arrives for his first day at the veterinary clinic, he s not surprised to find Elisa behind the desk. Curiously, though, she barely acknowledges their shared past, and insists she can t wait to get out of the town he s already come to love.
Elisa, determined to be nothing more than friends, tries fixing Liam up with Windy Flats most eligible women. Yet the old passion still simmering between them melts her resolve, and uncovers secrets that refuse to stay buried. Secrets that put both their hard-earned futures and their hearts at risk.
Warning: Paranormal? No. Sci-fi? Nothing otherworldly here. Just a sinfully gorgeous vet who loves animals, and knows how to turn a gal inside out with supremely mushy love scenes? Oh, absolutely! "
I've crafted compelling fiction since age five, when I played school with my best friend and sent home a "teacher's note" that got the poor girl in trouble.
It seems natural that my two passions, writing and studying relationships, have found an outlet in the form of romance novels. I'm fascinated with exploring the *something* that draws two people together, and I hope to share with my readers the humor, fun, drama, and best of all, joy of falling in love.
I'm thrilled to have earned two nominations for one of the industry's highest honors, Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart Award. I write short, sexy contemporaries, and I believe life is not complete without the pursuit of dreams and an intense roll in the hay...or wherever one feels inclined to roll.
Elisa has her future planned out. After all the years of sheltering herself from the world after a tragedy, she's ready to move on. She's looking for a new job in a new city. It just figures that just a few months before she's going to leave, her past walks right in to her brother's workplace.
She never imagined she'd run into Liam again. Liam was there nine years ago when Elisa was dating Brett, her ex-jerk of a boyfriend. There are so many things Liam doesn't know, events that happened after they lost contact. One thing she does know is that she's attracted to him. Liam seems to feel the same attraction.
But he's ready to settle down. Where he's at. Elisa isn't. Liam has suffered a recent loss of his own. And there's something she needs to tell Liam.
While the characters are strong and the pace is fast, I felt that the plot could have been a little tighter. Sure, there's conflict, there are untold secrets, and there are reasons the pair could be torn apart forever, but it felt weak. The suspense of what Liam would say to certain secrets was high, but his reaction didn't seem all that intense.
Still, if you enjoy reading a story with a hero and heroine with a common past, this story would be a good choice. It's about second chances, finding love despite all the odds against them, and uncovering truths from the past. Full Circle is enjoyable and a good read, I am glad I picked it to review.
Elisa Haley once dreamed of being a veterinarian. But when she came home from college, pregnant and abandoned, it seemed as if she’d given up her dream. Nine years later, Elisa’s almost done with a degree in Public Relations, and she’s determined to show her gossipy hometown that she’ll leave them all in the dust and make a success of herself somewhere else. Elisa is sure nothing can deter her from her plans. That is, until Dr. Liam Barton walks into her brother’s vet clinic.
In college, Liam was in love with his roommate’s girlfriend, but he was forced to watch Elisa suffer with the jerk. Liam was always Elisa’s friend…save for one night when he was more. Now, Liam is determined to make the small town of Windy Flats his home. He’s shocked to meet Elisa again and discover that she’s changed in a lot of ways from the woman he once loved. Still, Liam is drawn to Elisa, and the passion that ignites between them is too hot for either to resist. But Liam wants a family, and Elisa wants to hightail it out of Windy Flats. A relationship between them would be impossible – especially once Liam discovers a secret that Elisa has been keeping from him.
Both good things and bad tend to come full circle as author Avery Beck deftly shows in this aptly-titled romance. Ms. Beck takes mistakes, pain and loss and balances them with passion, hope and second chances. FULL CIRCLE broke my heart at times, as Elisa and Liam both had to deal with painful obstacles that blocked their path to happily ever after. But FULL CIRCLE isn’t all “storm and stress,” so to speak; as Elisa and Liam break through the barriers that separate them, there’s love, lust and happiness to be found.
Ms. Beck’s signature knack for meltingly sensual love scenes and relatable, delightfully imperfect protagonists are showcased in FULL CIRCLE. FULL CIRCLE is a wonderfully satisfying read that I could not put down until I’d finished. I adored Elisa and Liam’s story, and I can’t wait to read Ms. Beck’s next book!

This book started off rubbish and slow but ended great. Predictable but still great. The start was so boring and i was really regreting picking this book. But i hate not finishing a book (ive got 3 books i havent finished so far and i plan to finish reading then at the start of next year) so i continued reading it even though i put the book down at any opotunity i could. But it finally paid off.
I thought Justin was a bit over the top with the fact that Elisa was leaving for Nashville. Okay, so he didnt want her to go, but near to the end it started to become too much and i felt he was just being horrible.
In some parts of the book, it was really predictable. For example it was obvious she was going to give all her money away to Justins clinic. Also that Liam was going to stay and move in with Elisa.
The way the village gossiped was just too much. What the hell? They nearly ruined three peoples lives just because of their rumours. Ergh. Theres no way i could live in a town like that. Theres just no privacy.
Overall this was a good book. Happy i carried on reading this book. So im giving the book 4 stars out of 5
