Rule No. 3: Don't sleep with your best friend. When my best friend asked me to be his fake girlfriend in order to pursue custody of his daughter, I didn’t hesitate to help out.
Living together, sharing his bed, and waking up in his arms, quickly rekindle the long-forgotten childhood crush I once had on him. Only, Harrison isn’t a child anymore, and neither am I. I can’t ignore his charm, the way I feel in his arms, or how amazing he is with his daughter. The attraction is undeniable and so are the feelings that are growing faster than I can acknowledge them.
We pretend to be the perfect family to keep up appearances. Town festivals, family gatherings, and mundane every day tasks take on a whole new meaning. I remind myself daily that our relationship isn’t real, until he proposes with his grandmother’s ring.
Harrison is determined to prove to me that the fairy-tales are real, but I know from experience happy ever afters don’t exist.
How long before this happy ever after falls apart and I’m left searching for my glass slipper?

I do not, I repeat, I do not understand all the four and five star ratings for this book. This was repetitive, way too long and so so boring. Every thought/concern that either Everly or Harrison had was repeated over and over and over. What about this and what about that? Then back to what about this and what about that? This was basically angst done poorly. To add to that misery, Lea Coll describes every action the characters took. Example; They went to the fair. They parked the car where the lot attendant told them to park. They walked across the parking lot to the ticket window where they bought some entrance tickets. Did we need to know all of that? If it doesn't move the plot along or add to the characterization or add to the world building... DON'T ADD IT. For the love of God (and your readers) leave that shit on the cutting room floor.
The best relationships start with friendship. A solid foundation that can support you. Harrison and Everly have been friends since she was 10 years old. He has been with her in the toughest times of her life. The time her father walked out on her and her mother. Something that has never left her and makes it hard for her to trust anyone especially a man. She feels that she is not worthy of love, and is not enough for anyone. But Harrison has always been there for her. She has always been there for him as well. Especially when Wren came along. Now she is helping him with custody of his daughter. Moving in with him and pretending to be in a relationship with him, even going so far as to get engaged. Anything that will show the courts that he is capable of taking care of his daughter. But along the way Harrison realizes that he has always loved Everly and she is what he has been searching for. He always used the excuse of their losing their friendship if they ever agreed to become involved. Afraid of losing her. Everly also never wanted to give into any feelings she may have had for him because deep down she didn’t trust that he wouldn’t leave her too. But when the right one and the right time comes along the stars will align. Harrison wanted to show Everly fairy tales do come true. He wanted to give her the world, because she deserved nothing less. Always in the back of his mind was his custody battle with Wren’s mother and not doing anything that would risk him losing what he had. He wanted more time with Wren. He was her father and he was tired of every other weekend and Wednesday dinners. He listened to the advice of his attorney and with the help from Everly he was close to getting what he wanted. Having Everly be his would make everything complete. Could he prove to Everly that fairy tales do come true and they were destined to be together or will she wind up alone and unloved like she has felt since her father left.
When Harrison finds himself in a tough situation, he knows that the one person he can turn to is his best friend Everly. And he knows that she will do anything for him. Things to look for in this book:
Single dad ✔️ Best friends to lovers ✔️ Fake relationship ✔️ Small town romance ✔️ Forced proximity ✔️ One bed ✔️
Harrison has recently decided to go to the courts for more custody of his daughter, but to do so, his lawyer suggests that it would be better if he was in a committed relationship to prove that he is stable. So he decides right then and there that he is going to ask Everly to fake it with him so that he can get joint custody of his daughter Wren.
Everly is used to not having people love her and not trusting people to stay. She has been let down so many times in her life and I just felt so sad for her. So when her best friend Harrison needs a favor, she jumps on it to help him because that’s just who she is. She agrees to move in and play the part of the loving girlfriend. But at some point things go from pretend to real. But will Everly be able to get over her trust issues and get her own fairytale?
I loved Harrison and Everly’s friendship and was happy to see them both finally get their happy ending! There were some tough parts to read that made me want to throat punch one of the characters, but they both end up getting what they want and need in the end.
My favorite part of this book was the epilogue! It was so fun and such a great ending to their story.
Everly made me so sad a few times. She’s used to being discarded and she’s so sure that even though Harrison is her best friend and she knows she’s falling for more than that, it’ll end badly. And Harrison is just as sure that he’s messing this all up without trying…and every time he actively tries to communicate, he fumbles because what if he’s in this alone. So while they do communicate, they let fears rule a few times. And yet, those fears that ruled also lead both Everly and Harrison to some of the best news of their lives, both separately and together. So I couldn’t even be angry at their miscommunications because it brings so much more to their future.
That’s not to say that I wasn’t hoping for a slap to one of them for preying on deepest fears when the wall are closing in at a terrifying time. But I understood it. I just didn’t have to like it. Don’t worry, though. Everyone else is more than willing to deliver the slap-down that is so desperately needed to move past the terrors of possibly losing it all, which leads to a happier future than these two dared hope to have.
I still need more of this series. I know we’re marching closer to a certain duo who appear to be enemies, but I also know that maybe the one who loves weddings and the one who disdains them need to tell their tale next, and I can’t wait.
oh my gosh! I loved this book. Harrison and Everly have been best friends since they were little and have been through some tough times together Harrison was there to support her through it all and she has been there for him. The friendship that they have and the lengths they will go to help one another is amazing. Harrison is needing help to get custody of his daughter Wren so Everly moves in with them to prove to the courts that he is able to get take care of his daughter. While living together they start to have feelings for one another and realize that maybe what they have is actually real and not an act.
As a young child, it's hard to decipher adult situations, more so negative ones that affect your life, forever. Especially, if not explained to you at the time of impact. Or worse a lie is told by a depressed and bitter parent. As you will see in the case of, Everly Long, the lingering effects are nothing to laugh at. However, it doesn't stop her from being a kind, loyal, and loving friend. Especially, to her best friend and the man she lost her heart to at ten, Harrison Cain.
And, by extension his darling and extremely mature daughter, Wren, eight. You see Harrison was the one there to pick up the pieces that shattered when her Dad left. Everly was ten when he left and started a new family. Mentally she had lost her mother at the same time to a bitter, depressed, and hateful toxic self-depression. The more she was around Harrison the more she loved him. Yet, she knew he only ever saw her as a best friend. Then, the day came when he needed her for more.
And he asked to meet for dinner. When Harrison lays his dilemma at her feet. It seems, Lola is the least motherly type but is married and pregnant. Not that she spent a great deal of time with Wren before the pregnancy, however, not even close. So, both Wren and Harrison couldn't understand why, she had a problem, with them spending more time together. So, Harrison was consulting a lawyer. Now, this is where Everly becomes the most important part of this momentous process.
Harrison needs her to pose as his girlfriend which she could do from the privacy of her home. With him courting her and picking her up for dates from her front door. However, instead, he asks Everly to move in with him. It throws her a little, but she agrees. Everly would do anything to make sure father and daughter have more time together. She only wished someone had been there for her to step in, to help father and daughter be together. But, for Wren and her great-grandma to buy it, being the romantics that they are, they had to sleep in the same room, in the same bed.
Things just got real. Everly agreed. It didn't take long for Harrison to figure out he may have always had feelings for Everly. Yet, he had a lot of time, convincing, and romancing to do. To get Everly to believe that they were not moving off the agreed-upon notion she was asked to move in with him. You see Everly didn't believe in Happily Ever Afters or at least not for her. Her mom had taken all her hopes and dreams away from her, as a very young child.
And, continued to strip her of all dreams she may get for herself, especially concerning men. See if Harrison, along with his daughter, Wren, can bring all the joys of fairy tails back to her life. This was a very good book. I will admit there was a moment there where I thought she would have to sic, Gia on him for the way he lashes out at her.
Harrison and Everly are best friends. As young kids and then teenagers, he supported her while she dealt with life after her parents split. She has supported him through so much…..the unexpected pregnancy with a one night stand, learning to be a father to his daughter, Wren, and starting his own business. Now that he is ready to ask for more time with his daughter, Harrison’s lawyer insists that he needs to be in a committed relationship. Engaged or married would be even better. His first thought is that Everly will help him out. Surely she would agree to a fake engagement to help him get more time with the daughter she adores too, wouldn’t she?
Harrison is relieved when Everly agrees to his plan though a little niggling of doubt is just waiting to surface. He has no idea that he is her everything or that she has loved him for years. Needing everyone they know to believe their engagement is real, Everly moves in with Harrison, though lying to the people who care about them stirs up feelings of guilt. Loving Wren as if she were her own daughter is easy for Everly, as is acting the part of Harrison’s devoted fiancée. Though sharing a room has its complications for two people who claim they are just friends. Showing affection in public has never been a problem, but now the touches, the glances and the kisses feel different for both Harrison or Everly and soon lead to much more intimate moments. Harrison begins to feel that he and Everly can have a real happily ever after. Everly, however, believes that life is not fairytale and she almost certainly won’t get the prince of her dreams. Her parents have shown her that love doesn’t last and her father’s lack of contact over the years since her parents split has made her feel unworthy of love or any fairytale ending. Can Harrison convince her that his love is real and that their love is worth fighting for?
It was easy to fall in love with Harrison and Everly. He is a good guy who is usually honest and straightforward as they come. His love for his daughter leads him to go against his character and lie, dragging his best friend into it with him. Her secret crush and a spark of hope lead Everly to agree to his scheme. My heart ached for Everly’s feelings of unworthiness. Her past has made Everly afraid to believe in love and commitment. They both need help when it comes to communicating their feelings to each other. Harrison does his best to show her how he feels, and is willing to fight for their love. Their story touched my heart and left me smiling at the end.
I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
Oh, my fairytale HEA loving heart! Love Me Like You Do (Ever Afters Book 3) by Lea Coll is every diehard romance reader’s loving heart’s dream. Everly and Harrison are absolutely perfect for one another for so many reasons and their story ticks so many of my romance favorites boxes, I was overjoyed while reading. Honestly, I have a lot of romance trope favorites and best friends to lovers is definitely one of them. Then there’s the protective, do anything for his kid, single dad. Harrison stole my heart with his dedication to his daughter, Wren first, and then again with his ‘challenge accepted’ declaration to Everly. There’s a bit of grumpy-sunshine to the characters, but reverse from the usual. Everly is jaded about love, happily ever afters as well as fairytales. Harrison, on the other hand, is a true believer. His is full of hope and determined to persist in proving it to Everly. Once again Harrison melted me by including his daughter in his plans for winning Everly’s heart and mind. I love Everly too, for many reasons. She has landed in a soft spot in my heart. Her sad childhood, experiencing a loss and lack of emotional attachment in her early life broke my heart and had me rooting extra hard for Harrison’s plans to work. Everly is so in need of someone to wrap her up in devotion, adoration, support, as well as unconditional acceptance and love. These characters as a couple is fantastic. Their friendship is a solid foundation for the fake to real relationship, which in another favorite romance trope. It’s all to their benefit until things get nerve wracking with Harrison’s legal request for more time with Wren. It’s really the only downside of the best friends to lovers circumstance. Overall, Harrison’s undeterred motivation to create the family he’s always wanted for his daughter and himself with Everly at the center of their lives is inspirational. And as thought it is straight out of a modern day fairytale! Despite their ups and downs (notably Harrison’s colossal blunder), Everly and Harrison work through every hardship, heartbreak and celebrate happy outcomes and surprises. Their support for each other is unending and HEA perfection! Thank you Ms. Coll for the awesome fairytale romance! This one is not to be missed whether you have read the previous books in the series or not. This outstanding book stands alone and can be enjoyed by itself or part of the series. I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
Emotional, gripping, and beautifully written are just a few words that describe Love Me Like You Do by MS. Coll. She can grab your attention right from the start and play with your emotions as you read through the story. This book is a friend to lovers, one of my favourite tropes. Ms. Coll gives us a storyline that sees two soulmates that want the same end game, not what you think, however, the end game is not one that is easily reached.
Harrison and Everly have been friends for years and have been through difficult situations that deal with each of their families. Harrison is trying to get more time with his daughter, Wren, and his lawyer explains that he needs to jump through hoops to make this happen. Not a problem right? Well, the one thing that looks good is that he is settled down, engaged or married. The only thing he can think of is to ask Everly to be his fake fiance. Here is where things get interesting. Everly has been in love with Harrison for years and would do anything for him and Wren. Will she handle living with and sleeping in the same bed as him? She knows all too well about the effect of not having a father around. Her father left years ago, and her mother is too depressed to even act like a mother. She knows this is important to Harrison and Wren and will push her feeling aside. Will this forced proximity change things? Will Harrison see that the woman in front of him is the woman that he is to be with? When everyone around them can see that they are soulmates but will Harrison's eyes open up and see the same thing? When friends get together there is always the worry that things can blow up and you lose one of the most important people in your life.
Harrison, Everly and Wren are so easy to relate to. Harrison is so easy to swoon over with the way he treats Everly and Wren. He is sweet, protective, supportive and will do anything for the ones that he loves. The life changes that they have lived are ones that happen in everyday life and are part of people's reality. Everly's character growth was beautiful to watch. To see her put herself first with it came to her family. Wren is just too sweet not to love. I highly recommend picking up Love Me Like You Do and enjoy Harrison and Everly's love story.
Harrison wants more time with his daughter, Wren, so he hired a lawyer to try to get more time since Wren’s mom said no to his requests. His lawyer gives him suggestions to put him in the best position to get the custody he wants. One of which is a strong, steady relationship, or preferably an engagement. Everly is the first person to come to mind when Harrison quickly tells his lawyer that he’s in a committed relationship with an engagement on the horizon. She’s been his best friend since they were young and has helped him through everything, including raising Wren. Everly would dream of saying no to Harrison’s request to be in a fake relationship so that he can get better custody of Wren. She loves Wren and would help Harrison with whatever he needed. But things aren’t as easy as they thought they would be once Everly moves in. One starts to realize that they may have feelings, and the other is having trouble keeping their longtime crush from getting worse. Can these best friends make it through to not only get more time with Wren, but to also realize that their best friend might just also be their soulmate?
I was so excited when I learned that Everly and Harrison’s story was coming up next! And it did not disappoint! I adored Everly and Harrison, and especially Wren! They were already a family before all the drama started to go down. They just needed to realize it. Wren’s mom seemed a bit manipulative. Everly had quite a few issues to deal with, but I feel like the most important was her relationship with her mom. Her mother was very negative and toxic. I’m glad with how Everly ended up handling that situation. There was one scene that left me a bit in disbelief where one of the mc’s says something truly hurtful. I understand why, but boy was it dirty! I’m glad that it was all resolved and they do get their HEA! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest opinion.
This is the story of Harrison and Everly who have been best friends for many years. Harrison is a single dad who wants to have joint custody of his daughter. In going for more custody his lawyer suggests he look more stable by settling down. With Harrison not dating anyone, that isn’t a possibility. He thinks of his BFF, Everly, and gets ready to talk to her with a big ask.
Everly is a sweetheart who loves Harrison’s daughter, Wren, and agrees to help him do whatever he needs to do to get more time with his girl. Everly has had a rough upbringing by a single mom with a very bitter attitude toward men and life in general. She is a great person who has depended on Harrison for many years to be strong with her and for her. She doesn’t believe in fairy tales or love but due to her great love for Wren, she is willing to go along with Harrison’s plan.
Everly has had a slight crush on Harrison for years but has refused to acknowledge her feelings for him because their relationship wasn’t like that. Harrison has never seen Everly ‘that way’ but once they decide to become engaged and they begin to live together, he sees all of her many wonderful qualities and acknowledges how attracted he is to her.
This is a wonderfully written story with two great characters who are wonderfully developed. They have great chemistry and once that becomes unleashed, they can’t ignore the heat between them. I love the way Everly finds her father and figures out how to begin a relationship with him. That is an enriching part of the story.
I love this series as the other characters pop in too and we can catch up with old favorites. This one is not to be missed if you want to read a sweet story, great characters and a sweetheart of a little girl.
I loved Everly and Harrison’s emotional and heartwarming journey in Love Me Like You Do by Lea Coll, book three in the Ever After series. Harrison Cain wants to formulize his custody agreement for his eight-year-old daughter, Wren, but fears her mother, Lola, will not be receptive to this. He loves his little girl and would do anything to spend more time with her. His attorney informs him that a solid financial foundation and a significant other or fiancée would aid him in his request to revise the agreement. He owns his own business and is doing well, he has no fiancée, but he does have his best friend, Everly. Now to convince her to pose as his fake fiancée and move in so everything looks real. Everly knows that Harrison only he sees her as his best friend, but she has been in love with him for years. She loves Wren and would do anything for her and Harrison, but she questions if can she really do this, move in with him, as his fiancée and not lose her best friend. Despite having chemistry, both are fearful to risk their friendship as they recognize how important the other is to them. As these two work toward self-understanding, growing confident in who they are, and chasing their dreams, they also learn to open themselves to the possibility of the romantic relationship that’s been on slow burn, even when they didn’t realize it. An emotional story of a man who wants to be the best father for his little girl and maybe he'll realize that the love of his life, his soulmate was right beside him all along. I highly recommend Love Me Like You Do to other readers and can’t wait to read the next story in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Love Me Like You Do is the third book in Lea Coll’s all-new Ever After series, a spin-off of her Second Chance Harbor series. The series focuses on business owners and friends working together to make beautiful weddings happen. It’s a complete stand-alone title, but as a self-proclaimed big fan of this author’s books, I highly recommend all of them.
Harrison and Everly are most definitely opposites in every way regarding love. She doesn’t believe in it, and he’s looking for his HEA. Everly’s dad left when she was young and has had nothing to do with her since, so she struggles with relationships, except for her friendship with Harrison. Despite having chemistry, both are hesitant to risk their friendship because they recognize how important the other is to them. As these two work toward self-understanding, growing confident in who they are, and chasing their dreams, they also learn to open themselves to the possibility of the romantic relationship that’s been on slow burn even when they didn’t realize it. Watching them grow separately and as a couple was heartwarming, but the story arc was heartbreaking from both sides. Good thing this author loves a HEA as much as the rest of us!
Lea Coll consistently delivers a cast of well-written and well-developed characters, sweet and swoony moments, and a little spice, and she did not disappoint with this book.
Yet again, Lea Coll has produced an emotional page-turning must-read, a mesmerising unique friends-to-lovers story, that broke a little piece of my heart before beautifully putting it back together again.
For me, what is different about Love Me Like You Do is that both Harrison and Everly have their own heartbreaking family problems that in the end, will play a big part in their story, for Harrison he wishes to spend more time with his young daughter Wren, and she wants that too but her Mom is not on board, so Harrisons only option is to go to court, but he needs to be in a stable relationship, and the the only person he can think of to help him is the one person that knows him and Wren the best, Everly, who agrees to help, she knows what it feels like when you don't have your dad around, hers left when she was Wren's age causing her mother to completely shut down leaving Everly feeling she isn't good enough, the more time that the couple spend together the line between friendship and love blurs and they start to realise what Harrisons family have known all along that this couple belong together, but as with any Ms Coll story be prepared for a couple of emotion bumps along the way before they get their HEA, but boy is it worth the wait, I particularly loved the library scene, so much detail went into that piece and made my heart swoon for Harrison.
When your best friend asks you for a favor you never say NO, except you’re not sure whether or not in the end your heart will get broken. Harrison Cain is the table and chair supplies for Happily Ever After Weddings and his BFF from childhood Everly Long is now the invitation maker .. so working together after all of these years, school .. college .. brings them full circle in life. Except Harrison needs Everly to do the biggest favor for him to help him get more time with his daughter Wren .. Marry Him ….
Everly has always had deep deep feelings for Harrison but revealing those feelings could mean loosing her bff and she isn’t sure she could survive that after loosing her dad or did she ?? Is it worth maybe loosing every thing for this little girl .. YES IT IS !! Even Harrison was skeptical that he could keep this arrangement friendly because he too is looking at Everly different ??
Who is going to get their heart broken one way or another ?? These to have friendship no chemistry BUT a little girl is at the center of this and they are BOTH not willing to fail her and boy do they put it ALL ON THE LINE ….
This is a loving, caring installment and your heart will get involved!! Couldn’t put it down !!
Harrison Cain hopes to revise the custody agreement for his eight-year-old daughter, Wren. Her mother, Lola, will not be receptive to this, but he loves his little girl and would do anything to spend more time with her. His attorney informs him that a solid financial foundation and a significant other or fiancée would aid him in his request to revise the agreement. He owns his own business and is doing well, he has no fiancée, but what he does have is his best friend, Everly. He can’t possibly ask her to be his fiancé, at least until he could be granted alternate weeks with Wren? Everly knows that he only he sees her as his best friend, but she has been in love with him for years. Will she agree to his proposal, to be a part of his life, for Wren? She loves Wren and would do anything for her and Harrison, but can she really do this, move in with him, as his fiancée? An emotional story of a man who wants to be the best father for his little girl and maybe he'll realize that the love of his life was right beside him all along. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation, from the author, for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)
I really enjoyed this book and found that I could relate to it in many ways. It touched on Everly's relationship with her mother and how hard it was to overcome the negativity and move forward. I deal with a very similar situation in my own life and found the book a bit inspiring.
Harrison and Everly have been best friends since they were children. Harrison has been there for Everly and visa versa. They never took their relationship past the friend zone level, but all that changes when Harrison's lawyer suggest he be engaged to help his child custody case. What better person than the person who has always been there for him and his daughter Wren.
I loved this story so much. It was relatable and soul inspiring. The characters are strong, independent, caring and encouraging. The book was easy to read and hard to put down. It has deep feelings and soul searching.
I love all of Lea Coll's books and can't wait to read more.
Since childhood, Everly and Harrison have been best friends. They've had each other's backs, and have been there through the bad times and the good. So when Harrison wants to change his custody agreement for his daughter, and his lawyer suggests his chances would be better if he was in a committed relationship, Everly agrees to become his fake fiancé. What starts off as a friendly gesture, soon turns to more. Unfortunately, with the emotional baggage that Everly carries from her father leaving when she was ten, and the deep fear that Harrison holds that he could lose his daughter, things start to spiral out of the everyones control. I enjoyed this book, but there was something that didn't quite gel between Everly and Harrison. I didn't feel the chemistry as much as I have with previous characters, hence the four stars not five, but this is still a great story.
Harrison has a child, 8 year old Wren, with Lola, the product of a one night stand. They have never lived together but he sees his daughter and now wants more, but the mother is resisting every time and everything. Forcing shared custody through the court is complicated especially when his solicitor suggests marriage is a definite bonus in his application. Blurring out he is about to get engaged is a face saver, especially when he named is best friend and confident Everley. Now he needs to tell her and ask for a fake relationship. The problem starts when fake is becoming real, and feelings are surfacing, but friendship is all it is supposed to be with the intention to breakup after the hearing. Confusion, trust issues, unrequited love, all combine to derail the plans..otherscsee exactly what Harrison has missed, and Everley may no longer be willing.
We all know there are rules that shouldn’t be broken and sleeping with your best friend is one of them !!!! Harrison and Everly are best friends and when he asks her to become his fake girlfriend in order to pursue custody of his daughter Wren, she jumped in feet first. What follows is an entertaining and emotional journey as fake becomes real. I loved everything about Harrison but what made him a very special man was the love he had for his daughter Wren. The willingness to go above and beyond to get joint custody of her touched me on so many levels. I adored Everly and my heart broke for her self esteem issues that she lived with every day but it only took a man, his daughter and true love for this woman to come into her own. A wonderful journey with wonderful characters and it’s the perfect addition to the Do After Series.
This was a cute friends to lovers book. I liked Harrison and the way he loved his little girl. He wants to spend more time with her and this is where his best friend Everly enters as a fake fiancé.
She's loved Harrison since she was little, but they never crossed the line of their friendship. And now he's asking her what she always wanted and that is to be his, but to pretend. But along the way feelings that are not simply friendly awake and soon nothing about their relationship is fake.
But the past has a way of coming back to bite you and when he pushed too hard, she took a step back to reevaluate her life. Despite the drama it was refreshing seeing how they handled all the wrongs they both did and the HEA was that much sweeter.

A heartwarming sensual romance in the inimitable style of this author. Harrison is self-employed and single with a delightful daughter, Wren, that he has to share with his ex, Lola. They had a one night stand in college and he moved back to town to be able to see his daughter. Now he wants more time but has to go to court to gain shared custody and his attorney advises him to get engaged or married. He turns to his best friend, Everly, whom he has known since she was 10 and he comforted her after her father abandoned her. They have been close ever since but never crossed the line despite Everly's crush. The relationships between them and Wren and them both is adorable. When they break the barrier and have sex it gets nice and steamy. Of course, there will be issues and problems but all will be well and well told. Received this arc and have voluntarily reviewed.

Small Town🏘️ Friends to Lovers 👩❤️💋👨 Fake Fiance 💍 Single Dad 👨👧 So much goodness here I can't wait for more of this small town. I have voluntarily left this review.
Everly still bears the emotional scars of her upbringing and doesn’t allow many people close however Harrison and his daughter Wren are the exceptions. He has always been there when she needs someone the most so now that he needs her so that he can spend more time with his daughter she doesn’t hesitate to pretend that they are a couple.
Harrison loves two people in his life his daughter Wren and his best friend Everly. When he needs to prove he is in a committed relationship so that he can spend more time with his daughter he soon realizes that there is nothing fake about the love that he and Everly have for each other and now he just needs to convince her.
Harrison and Everly take us on a heartwarming journey as they finally acknowledge how they really feel about each other even if they had a couple of setbacks along the way.
Everly and Harrison have been friends since they were kids. Even though everyone has assumed they have, they never crossed the line and tried to be romantic. But they are so ingrained in each other’s lives that no one questions when they move in together. But Everly is really just helping Harrison in his quest to change his custody arrangement and have more time with his daughter Wren. His lawyer thinks he needs to be in a stable relationship with a person who has a steady income to impress the judge. But the simmering attraction that has always been there bubbles to the surface when Harrison makes it his goal to show her fairy tales do exist.
I have read all the other books in this series and liked them. This author is really good at small town romance.
Friends to Lovers/Fake Relationship Harrison and Everly have been friends forever. She's like a member of his family. When he needs help with gaining shared custody of his daughter, Everly agrees to help him. This puts their friendship on the line and pushes them toward a fake relationship. They both are concerned about lying to their family and friends but his situation overrides that. They both start seeing that they've always had more than just friends feelings for each other. Everly has some issues to overcome with her abandonment of her father when she was young. Will they come between them and ruin their budding romantic relationship? I like this series and like this addition to it. I received an early copy to read and review. I'm leaving my honest review.
This series has been blowing me away from the start, it really shows how amazing of a writer Lea Coll is and why I’ve been a fan of her writing for many years now. I felt so many different emotions while reading this book, especially with Harrison and Everly’s story.
Everly’s background with her mother and father made me so emotional, I did not see that coming when I started the book. The theme of custody and father’s fighting or not fighting for their children, the parallels and the emotions that came from all of that was so interesting and well written.
I loved how Harrison and Wren wanted to change Everly’s perspective of love and how they went about doing it. Wren was adorable and I loved all her scenes, but especially the scenes where Harrison and Everly had PDA.
5 Star review Love Me Like You Do (Ever After #3) by Lea Coll
I love Ms. Coll’s stye of writing. Her characters are multi-dimensional and realistic. I enjoy friends to lovers’ stories and this genre is one that Ms. Coll does well.
I fell hard and fast for Harrison, his love for his daughter Wren, and his willingness to go to any lengths to get joint custody melted my heart. What started out as fake relationship quickly becomes real for both Harrison and his best friend Everly.
Everly has such low self esteem and feels that no one will ever really want her and that broke my heart. The miss communication between Harrison and Everly was frustrating at times, if only they dared discuss their true feelings.
This was an emotional read and really tugged at my heart strings.
