When Kate Douglas first published Wolf Tales she broke the rules of romance. Continuing to do so with every book she writes, Kate is now writing Demon Lovers, a short story series full of erotic passion.
“. . . Ms. Douglas has an amazing ability to draw her readers into her books and I felt a part of Wolf Tales V in my heart and soul. I laughed and I cried and as soon as I finished the book, I had to read it again! For all these reasons, I believe that Wolf Tales V deserves a Gold Star Award.” —Reviewed by Marcy Arbitman for Just Erotic Romance Reviews for Wolf Tales V

About the
Kate Douglas is the lead author of Kensington Publishing’s Aphrodisia imprint and the author of the popular erotic paranormal romance series Wolf Tales and Dream Catchers, as well as the Zebra series DemonSlayers. She is currently writing the next Chanku series, Spirit Wild. The first book, Dark Wolf, is available now.
Some people just seem to know they are meant to write, but it can still take a while to figure out exactly what their career will entail. Kate Douglas started out writing radio copy for a country western radio station in 1972, wrote and illustrated an educational cartoon strip for the American Mosquito Control Association for a number of years, was a newspaper reporter for a small town weekly where she covered everything from high school sports to drug busts, and then, in the mid-1980s, decided to write her first romance.
Many submissions and rejections followed.
In 1998, she sold to a small ebook publisher before anyone knew what an ebook was, but it wasn't until 2005, a full twenty years after finishing that first romance, that she signed with a New York publisher.
In January 2006, Kensington Publishing launched their Aphrodisia imprint of erotic romance with Kate's Wolf Tales, a sexy paranormal series about a lost race of shapeshifters. She went on to write 21 novels and novellas in that series, then wrote three other series for Kensington before moving to St. Martin's Press.
She has two series with SMP--The Intimate Relations series complete with three novels and one novella of romantic suspense set in California's wine country, and an erotic paranormal series, Feral Passions, set in California's Trinity Alps.
She is also continuing her Spirit Wild series, the sequel to Wolf Tales, independently.
Kate and her husband of over forty-five years have two adult children and six grandchildren. They live in the small town of Healdsburg, California, in the heart of the beautiful Sonoma County wine country.

This story is also about 50 pages. Again short stories are not my favorite because it is hard to connect with characters. Addie has accepted her role as the fulcrum. While they were out hunting demons, Jett was attacked and things get out of hand. Locan and Addie will not give up on Jett and will do anything to save him because they both love him. This story covers those 2 days of time and not much action outside of sex. Again some very adult and descriptive scenes in this book. Anyone who loves Kate Douglas will like this story, but anyone who does not like erotic ménage may want to skip this series. I'm hoping I get more attached as I read :)
Addie is learning how to use her powers with the help of her two lovers, Jett and Lorcan. But during one of their demon hunts Jett gets seriously injured and reverts back to his original demon body. With the help of Lorcan they hunt Jett down and Addie figures out how to use some of her powers to turn Jett back into a human sized male.
I really like reading this series and I am glad that this book was better than this first book in this series. Addie Logan has a new life, and two new lovers, Jett and Locan. Settled into her role as the one who keeps the balance in their erotic relationship, and as a warrior in the fight against demons, she will do anything to keep the men she loves safe. When Jett is attacked and turned back into his original demon form, it’s up to Addie and Locan to rescue him, but only Addie truly has the power to bring back the Jett they both love. Using the love they share, Addie pushes herself and her own erotic adventures to their limits, because she’ll do anything for Jett. For his part Jett can't remember why he feels the need to remain close to them both he is also confused as to why he doesn't want to eat them. This was a short quick read that I did like. This book was well written with know grammar or spelling errors. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
I read the box set and this review will be based on the series as a whole. I enjoyed the first part of this series and of course the sex scenes were HOT!! The writing was good, but in the middle of this series I would have liked a little more creativity. The fact that video game characters come to life just left me feeling dumb. I didn't enjoy that part. Now, the last book was okay. HOT HOT hell hound was a good twist. Didn't mind that one. I always enjoy a good plot. Execution is always a must and was a little lacking through out the middle part of this boxed series. Almost gave it 2 stars, but it worked out in the end.
I received this ARC from the author via Net Galley. Thank you!!
The second book in the series really starts to stir things up. When Jett is attacked and bitten by a Demon no one is prepared for the venom left behind to turn Jett back into a Demon. It takes all of Addie's strength and determination to hunt Jett down and turn him back into the being he needs to be to complete the turn and avoid her destruction after she has only begun her unending life. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me access to review this book.
Unbound was an fun mini-adventure and that's all I ask for in a short story. I want to feel like I have just popped into someone else' journey and Unbound does that. It is an extremely erotic sizzling little jewel. I love the Yin-Yang aspect of the triad, I really would love to see a full length book done in this world.
They're demon hunters so it would follow that they go out and fight and kill demons, but when Jett is bitten and is made to turn back into his former demon self will Addie and Locan be able to reach him in time before everything for the three of them changes? I really enjoyed this quick read and now on to the 3rd
This series is my crack. It's got some inconsistencies in the plot/details, which would normally mean I would DNF it, but instead I liked it and didn't want to put it down. Go figure.
Read this in about a day. I had finished the first one the day before and actually thought the second one to be better. I recommend reading all of them (as i am planning to do) and looking at them as long sections of a book rather than individual books themselves.
