When I was an 8 year old kid, I read this book and bawled my eyes out in the bathroom where my mother found me.

I loved the book then. It's probably pure drivel, but since I have never seen the book since, it remains the crowning achievement of literature in the eyes of an 8 year old nerd.

Wow. That was a lot of awesome followed by a lot of depressing.
