About two young boys and how they coped with the Great Depression, working at various jobs to earn spending Circus Roustabouts, gathering scrap metal from alleys, caddying, delivery rider for the Western Union, to mention a few. Arnold, the younger of the two, but street wise, finds the jobs, and by hook or crook, always gets more than his share, but hes such a lovable little rogue, you find yourself forgiving him.
