Poems by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Emily Dickinson, John Donne, and many others appear in a collection of poetry that expresses love, friendship, faith, hope, and inspiration
This is basically a huge anthology of classics. I already have Dickens, Shakespeare, and Edgar Allan Poe's entire collections so I don't really need to keep this. I have a ton of these poems already. I think I may try getting a Robert Frost collection a few other of the poets listed in here.
Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find a ton of classic quotes that I never knew the origins to before. And now I know.
Perfect for poetry beginners, teachers, and everyone in between. The beautiful cover is the cherry on top- this is a great gift and a staple for every home!
I honestly can not believe this was published. These poems were absolutely juvenile. They were supposed to be the 'best' poems. Literally all of them rhymed. I was hoping for a variety of good, deep poems, but this was not it.
This is a wonderful collection of poems. I found a hard cover with dusk jacket copy of this at a yard sale once and it has gotten many reads out of me.
