The premise of this very small Kabbalah book is a good one...it is very beguiling, asking the big questions about suffering, innate power, and God.

But it doesn't really say much. It's vague, it's general, and seems more of a promotion for the Kabbalah Centre the author co-founded, and other books by his company.

And the one example of "miracles" is a VERY weird story about how a friend of his managed to dupe a hotel in Beverly Hills into giving his family a free day of using the pool there and a hotel room. Huh?? Seriously? This is a spiritual miracle?

Maybe one star would be more appropriate. I am giving it the benefit of the doubt with two, as some of the concepts are good general principles, and I like the example given of a medical issue relating to spiritual aspirations. The true Kabbalah is no doubt interesting.
