On the surface it's a role playing game rulebook, but inside the cover you will find a wealth of information on the world of Willow as seen in the movie. This book is essentially a guide to the Willow movie, and is officially licensed by LucasFilm as an official reference. Forget the gaming stuff. It's just using the old Dungeons and Dragons rules in a new setting. Get this book to learn the history of all of the prominent characters from the movie. Get this book to learn about all of the monsters, and mythical creatures. Get this book to understand the historical underpinnings that lead up to the events of the movie. You even get to learn about how magic works in the world of Willow. It's a great source for those who wish to delve into the movie's universe and know more than what the movie reveals.
