Still pursuing my Scots and not disappointed. This is an oldie from the 80's; a good strong procedural with smart detectives who get their man.

Had a later book in the series recommended to me but like to start series at the beginning so gave this a try & I enjoyed it enough that I think I will continue with the series. In the spare feeling & the little details you could almost think the author was a policeman although he wasn't

Police procedural series set in Glasgow written by an Englishman who does not know Glasgow as well as he thinks he does!
