I want to read this book because I've heard it was devastatingly sad, and I need an outlet for my college app stress. I already have the book and I aim to finish it by Thanksgiving; however, it's a little long, so I may require an extension.
11/10, a million stars, one of the best books ever.
A Little Life never fails to make me laugh, cry, and feel understood in the most fundamental way that art alone can. This is my seventh re-read, and yet again I am finding myself evolve and relate with it differently as my life changes.
The drama, the extremes, the fearlessness of the story. I need more Yanagihara.
Just finished reading A little life for the second time… it’s even better than I remembered. The most beautifully poignant and devastating depiction of humanity I’ve ever encountered. Yanagihara is a genius; a God; an artist.
