Stolen Identity: Christian, Who Are You?

Rate this book
A discovery, by personal revelation, of your true identity in Christ is a powerful life changing experience for any Christian. It is indispensable for any believer who wants to grow in maturity and live a victorious and fruitful Christian life. You can often tell the importance and value of something by the assault the enemy arrays against it. A burglar is not interested in breaking into your home to steal you wooden spoon collection! The greatest battle Jesus faced in His ministry was over this very question ... who was He? What was His identity? The same was true of the Holy Spirit. It even goes back to the temptation in the Garden of Eden when Satan attacked Adam and Eve with subtle questions about God's character and goodness. The same is happening to Jesus followers today ... an all out assault on who they have become in Christ. This book will describe the vital importance of understanding your identity and the devil's strategy to steal it. It will then go into detail describing ten aspects of your new identity ... all with the intention of releasing you into a whole new realm of life and authority in the kingdom of God.

Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:10 that every believer has been created in Christ Jesus for good works. There are good works to be accomplished that can never be done if we don't grow in the revelation of our full identity in Christ. Servants can never accomplish what sons and daughters are equipped to do. Some tasks require the authority and assignments given to ambassadors and kings. Some battles will only won with the fighting spirit of a soldier. Each of us needs to grow in maturity and discipleship into each aspect of our complete identity.

This book lends itself for small group discussion and discipleship. Each chapter ends with additional Scriptures for further study and questions to consider, with an emphasis on personal application.
