Christos is the CEO for Etrade. Although this book uses Etrade as its model, he gives ample space and credit to other on-line investing sites. Aside from a few specifics, you would hardly detect an Etrade slant.
The book is very clear and simple at explaining not only the specifics of online trading, but of investing in general. It is a very articulate, non-biased book, perfect for the beginner of not only on-line investing, but of investing in general.
Easy read with references to lots of helpful sites and institutions. Highly recommend for beginners.
