Scarlett's not about to be taken in by Skylar's panty melting charm, no way, not after having been burned by an ex of the same type before. But perhaps there's more to him than just the surface cocky smirk and gorgeous body?



I like the premise of this story and I enjoyed both Scarlett and Skylar, but I have to admit a few things took me out of the story. The main one being the dialogue and transitions were pretty clunky and awkward. I wish the author had used more apostrophes and fewer words, it just felt a bit unnatural. Still, the chemistry between playboy Skylar and sweet Scarlett is hot, and the story itself is fast-paced and entertaining.

Scarlett has been hurt by romance in the past so she has focused her attention on her career as a counselor for a group home. The last thing she needs is to be distracted by an athlete whose reputation on and off the track precedes him.

Ryder is a successful race car driver who appears to being living a life that others would envy. When he meets Scarlett at the group home he isn’t deterred by her reluctance to be with him and he is determined to show her that they belong together.

There was no denying the chemistry between them and Ryder knew that Scarlett was special and worth fighting for.

I completely devoured the Driven Series with Rylee and Colton so I was excited to read Limitless. It was incredibly well written with characters you couldn't help but cheer for. Skylar is the new bad boy superstar in the racing world. But Scarlett refuses to fall for his charms. After a nasty breakup she is not ready to risk getting hurt again. But Skylar always gets what he wants and wants Scarlett like no other woman he has ever met. I highly recommend this fantastic story. Cannot wait for more!

High octane read

Limitless by M.A. Lee is part of the multi-author The Driven World series. This is the story of Scarlett and Ryder. This is a nicely written, fast-paced, fun and sexy novella. What happens when a confirmed bad boy of the racetrack meets the toughest curves he will ever encounter. Well you will just have to pick up this enjoyable book and read for yourself. But let's just say that there is a lot of high-octane fueling things both on and off the track.

Rush, a playboy CEO, and Grace, a racing journalist, meet and sparks fly. They both have something to prove and their backstories have a lot of pain and sorrow. The characters are strong and determined. The romance is steamy and trusting after they find common ground. Loved the racing scenario as my husband and I are involved with road racing in SCCA. A lot of matches have been made through our club, including our own. Very well done.

Limitless was a good story, the plot and characters were strong, the story was written well. M.A. Lee did a good job on the book. Scarlett and Skylar's journey had it's ups and downs but the attraction between them was strong, they were drawn to each other. Scarlett gave Skylar a run for his money, these two were good together, the chemistry was sexy.

Poorly written

The heroes name changes between the description and the actual book. The author changes tense mid-sentence, practically every sentence. They also have a lot of stilted dialogue.

Ryker has it all to go along with his bad boy image. Scarlett is not at all impressed with him. Until she begins to know they guy behind the public persona. I had not intention to read in this series - a number of authors who are unknown to me, and a lack of time. But saw this book by this author, and knew it would be a winner. The story is fast-paced and easy to read. Ryker and Scarlett have off-the-charts chemistry. I could not put this down once I started reading.

This is a push and pull romance.
Scarlett makes Ryder work for her attention. He starts to think should give up and move on but het allure is to tempting. He may think it's a simple affair but her pull to his push us to strong and before he knows it he is riding high and hooked
