Shift of the Dead II: Overtime

Rate this book
It's been 45 days since the unthinkable happened. The recently deceased began returning from the grave and they were ravenous for human flesh.

45 days ago they were just cashiers, stockboys and managers in a discount store. They had to learn how to fight the rotters, how to find food and water, and how to fend off boredom. They had learned how to survive in the undead world.

They come across a small but thriving community led by a dictator. Will joining them further their quest to find lost family or will it lead to their destruction?

Set 45 days after the events of Shift 1 this carries on the story of Jason and his friends/colleagues as they try to find the remaining survivors of the zombie apocalypse.
Well written characters and a believable storyline make for an engrossing read. Less grammatical/ spelling errors than the previous book too.
The way the author ties everything up at the end impressed me too - well deserving of all 5 stars.

A solid follow-up to a good first book.

Good action, believable characters, and a great ending.

My only complaint would be a few typos and too many instances ofwords running together inthe book. It was just a bit distracting.
