This the first full devotional book that I recall reading start to finish—a first for me. The down-to-earth, interesting, and easily digestible stories helped, I’m sure. It also helps that I was already a fan of Greg Laurie, who has those qualities in a humble desire to make Jesus and God’s Word plain. Highly recommended.

This is a GREAT DEVO, written by a GREAT teacher! There are a lotta encouraging pages in this devo. But Pastor Greg hasa kind/genuine way of telling you when there are hard things that God is saying to us.

This is fabulous if you are looking for a daily devotion. I didn't realize it didn't have 365 days of devotions. It's set up to have break days. I really like the way Greg Laurie writes and its all pointing to God. None of his stories are just fluffy, feel good stuff. All the devotions are focused on God and points you to scripture.
