Touch Me by Callie Croix is a fun, sexy, friends-to-lovers story that I read in one sitting. It's the kind of story you look for when you want to read something hot and romantic, but not too emotional or angsty. Ms. Croix gives us characters to believe in and care about, and does it very well considering the shorter page count. She knows how to balance sexual tension, burn up the pages sex, and sweet romance for steamy good times!
For those who might be interested, this book contains oral sex, some very light bondage and a close encounter of the anal kind involving one very persistent thumb.

I find it very sexy that Tianna has been living in Alex's house all this while when he was away on duty abroad.
She has been sleeping in his bed, using his shower and eating in his kitchen. Absolutely SEXY. And I personally loved the part when he arrived home for a little R & R after getting injured, it was so full with sexual tension.
Tia's espresso eyes met his, and he felt an unwelcome punch of heat in his lower belly. This was his best friend's twin sister he was ogling, but somehow his brain didn't care and wouldn't let him forget she was newly single. Available.
Her lush breasts pressed against him through the robe, confirming his suspicions that she was bare beneath it. She must have been naked in bed when she'd heard him open the front door.
God, she was sexy.
I might have enjoyed this immensely should there be more story line (and pages) to it. This is such a short short read that the hot and elaborated sex scenes just overpowered everything else. For an erotica to be anything but sex was very boring and tiring indeed. I liked my erotica to have more going ons besides the constant lets-get-nekkid-togetha bit. Would love for Alex and Tia to spend a full day out of the bedroom at least. The sex was great yes I got that, so how about some drama a bit too?

TOUCH ME might be my favorite from Callie Croix so far because I really liked Tianna and Alex. They're perfect for each other and they were sexy, sweet and a lot of fun to read about. A bad end to her marriage has left Tianna with a lot of insecurities but Alex has always been there for her. What Tianna doesn't expect is for Alex to see her submissive side and not only understand it (unlike her ex) but also love it. TOUCH ME was pretty light on the dominance but no less sexy for it. A quick and dirty read that hits all the right spots for a novella.

When I first heard that Kaylea Cross had a pen name to write more steamy erotic stories, I hunted down that name and continue to keep an eye out for any new stories she writes. When I finally was able to sit down and read Touch Me, I couldn’t put it down!
Alex is home on leave, healing from an injury while fighting overseas. Although he wants to be back fighting with his team, he is also looking forward to finally getting a chance to show Tianna that they are meant to be together.
Tianna is just getting over a failed marriage from a man who beat her down emotionally. She doesn’t think she’s ready to venture out into the dating world again, until Alex comes home. Around him she can open up, be more herself, and get back to a point where she is happy in her own skin. But will Alex be enough to help pull Tianna out of her shell and gain enough confidence to take another chance at love?
I absolutely adored this story, even though it was shorter than I normally like. I’m always a sucker for the macho Alpha hero who is head over heels in love with his leading lady, and Alex was the perfect hero. He was strong and confident and alpha to the core, but at the same time he was also gentle and caring and ready to protect Tianna by any means necessary. I really liked that he was so willing to stand by her side and help her pick up the pieces of her somewhat broken life, but he was willing to let HER do the work, without being an overbearing jerk about it. There wasn’t one single thing about Alex that I didn’t love and adore.
While I didn’t connect with Tianna as quickly, I did care for her as more of her story came out. Her history with her husband and why their marriage dissolved wanted to make me cry. Tianna had a lot of growing to do, and while we don’t get to see too much of that in the story, Croix does a good job of showing it in the little subtle things. I do wish that Tianna would have just talked to Alex when she was scared instead of running away and trying to put as much space between them as possible.
All in all I thought Touch Me was a wonderful short story. It was full of smokin’ hot sexy times, but it also had a deeper emotional connection between the hero and heroine. It was both sweet and sexy and fun to read. I just wish we could have had a little longer time with these two.

Tianna has been going through an emotional journey with the issues her ex-husband left with her after their divorce. Dealing with self-esteem issues, left her to deny her on sexual fantasies. But when Army Captain Alex Montoya comes home on leave after being injured on duty, he has his mind set on bringing out all her hidden desires and to help with her deal with issues of low self-esteem, even with the fact that Tianna's brother is Alex's best friend.
This book was amazing. I really enjoyed the connection between Tianna and Alex. You could feel the chemistry between the two from the very beginning. They had a heated sexual attraction to each other that made the book very enjoyable.
Lets talk about the characters. I really liked Tianna. She was shy and kind and to me it seems she has a quiet authority to her in her own way. Even with all her self-esteem issues, you could tell she wanted to overcome it, but with the way her husband treated her, he already planted that seed of doubt in her mind. Alex was my favorite. I loved the fact that he was Military. I have always wanted to read a couple of books that has the army in it in one form or another. Alex just had sex appeal. He knew what he wanted and had his mind set on what it was. There was no changing it. You could tell he was a Captain just by the way he responded to certain things, whether it was with his actions or with his words. He was a pleasure to read about. Tianna's ex-husband was awful. He's the controlling type, something I despise in a man. I feel his character was written out perfectly for the part.
Something was missing in this book for me, I must say. I think it was because there wasn't enough drama. I like for there to be drama in books. Not a lot, but not to little. I feel there could have been more in some places. In that aspect, it was lacking.
But all in all, I really enjoyed this book! It was a quick read and kept me turning the pages. This book is definitely for people 18 and older. If this is the kind of book you enjoy, I really think you should give this a go!

After being in a verbally abusive relationship, Tia is just getting over a terrible divorce. She's fortunate enough to be able to stay at her long-time friend's home while he is away at war. Tia has always felt more for Alex, but never revealed her true feelings, fearful it would jeopardize their friendship. When Alex is sent home for a two week stay after an injury, there's no hiding her attraction, and, to Tia's surprise, that attraction is very much mutual.
This was an okay, quick read. The heroine is into being submissive, but has never had the courage to admit it's what she likes, but lucky for her that Alex, the hero, is very much into being dominant. The story was pretty good, but also pretty predictable. This is my second read by this author, and I LOVE that she writes stories involving military studs!! Three stars!

Nicely done little erotic novella. Not a lot of plot just a couple of days in the life of a soldier home on medical leave and his best friend's sister. She is getting over a bad divorce and they let out the feelings they've had for each other. Believable emotions and nicely done hot sex scenes.

This little story was not only hot but a really nice story of two people getting together. I think this story could have been longer but then I can be a bit greedy at times.
There isn't a lot more I can say about this really but the characters where believable and even though it was short it did build depth and tension, sexual and plot, and I did feel I wanted to know more. As a short escapist read this is perfect to get you a little hot and make you smile with it.

Touch Me is one of those short, hot guilty pleasure type books. The kind that you can read in a few hours that makes you just melt. Alex had that hot guy in a uniform thing going on, he's an alpha male hero who has always wanted Tianna but as friends with her brother she's always been off limits to him. Tianna was quite vulnerable, her ex-husband's brain injury and resulting threatening behaviour has left her with zero self confidence. Tianna has been house sitting for Alex who is now home on leave after being injured. For Alex it's now or never time with Tianna, being in the same house together they have to decide if giving in to their desires is worth putting their friendship on the line.
Despite being really short Touch Me is a satisfying read, it's both hot and steamy and actually also quite sweet.

My Opinion:
I enjoy this well thought out novella. I loved the fact that Tia was a strong character and got out of her terrible marriage. This was a great example of love from afar that finally gets ignited. Once they get together the sparks start flying. I was completely into this book. I could easily place myself in Tia and Alex’s shoes and feel for both of them. It’s a tricky situation to like someone’s sibling. The book was well thought out and was free flowing and easy to read. In fact it was a pleasure to read. The author takes us through both Tia and Alex’s mind throughout the book. It’s easy to feel the love they have for each other this way. Alex helps Tia realize that her ex should have no power over her. Once Tia excepts this she can move on with Alex. Well written and such a great lesson to be learned. I recommend reading this one.

I’ve enjoyed other reads from Callie Croix, and I wasn’t disappointed with this one. She managed to get things steamy with a storyline too.

This was a quick little short about 2 people facing their feelings about each other and about the woman taking back her sexuality after it was beaten out of her with words by her ex.
I liked that Tia knew what she wanted and how even though her ex's words did their damage somewhere deep she knew she shouldn't give them credence. I also loved that Alex realized just what Tia needed and he gave it to her, even when she tried to run. The best part of the book, though, was when Tia finally gave it to her ex, something that should have been done long ago.

This a hot, erotic novella that features Tia, who has been house sitting for her brothers friend while she goes through a divorce and he serves overseas in the military. Alex returns home for a couple of weeks and his desire for Tia emerges. His dominant nature recognizes her natural, but untried, submissiveness.

Tianna has been living in his house for the past eight months and trying to get back on her feet. She's a dangerous combination of sexy and sweet and already half in love with her, Alex tries to keep his distance. Though Tianna suffered in her marriage, she' now free and has been staying at Alex's and sleeping in his bed these past eight months with fantasies of Alex himself keeping her awake at night. She's craved Alex but assumes he thinks of her as just his friends sister. What she's always wanted and needed has been dominance in the bedroom. Though her ex husband made he feel like a freak for what she wanted, she senses that Alex would be the one to give it to her. Each having fantasies of the other, when these two finally give into their feelings, the results are nothing but explosive.

The first time Alex and Tianna gave into their feelings, was hot and needy and I literally groaned out loud when they were interrupted. Though I was irritated with the interruption, it was a great little tease that had me turning the pages faster. I also enjoyed the real to life aspects that both characters dealt with. Alex was struggling not only with injures and a possible Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, but also the fact that he lost two of his men in the explosion. Tianna, was re-discovering her self confidence after dealing with mental abuse and ridicule from her ex. The hurtles and drama these two characters were dealing with gave them some real qualities and made me root for them even more. Overall, it was a great read and a great story in a little package.

This is a short story of two people who have been interested in each other for a long time, but through circumstances have not been able to a couple or even express their emotions for each other. Through some well planned moves, they come together, her to help him heal his war wounds and him to help build up her self-esteem again. While the story if well, written, I didn't feel any deep passion for the characters. Maybe that is because the story is short. They are likable and you want them to get together, but it was a forgettable book once I was done. I suggest reading it because as I said it is well written.

Alex Montoya torna a casa dall'Afghanistan con una ferita superficiale, sapendo che ad attenderlo troverà Tia, sorella del suo migliore amico, che si sta riprendendo dal divorzio. Quello che lei non sa è che da anni popola i sogni erotici di quello che ha sempre considerato un amico, per essere precisi il migliore amico di suo fratello gemello.
Tia sta faticando a rimettere assieme i pezzi della sua vita, dopo che il suo matrimonio è naufragato per via di un marito abusante che ha inflitto un grave danno alla sua autostima portandola a credere di essere una donna dai perversi gusti sessuali.
È una storiellina breve e carina questa, dove i due protagonisti, l'uno all'insaputa dell'altra, sono da tempo innamorati, ma ci vorrà il maschio dominante in Alex per prendere in mano la situazione e permettere a Tia di gustare fino in fondo il suo bisogno di essere dominata tra le lenzuola.
Non aggiungo altro perché non c'è molto altro da aggiungere, comunque la storia scorre ed è ben scritta ed anche i dialoghi tra i personaggi non sono male.
Ho apprezzato il fatto che lo stereotipo e ormai trito e ritrito "non ci puoi provare con la sorella del tuo migliore amico" sia rimasto sullo sfondo e non abbia mai fatto capolino se non in una battutina finale, di queste storie così ormai ne ho lette milioni....
Piccola nota sulla copertina: le prime due pagine non fanno che parlare dei capelli castani di Tia e dei suoi occhi color caffè, quindi come siamo arrivati alla biondona?

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for an honest review. Tianna has been living in her brother's best friend Alex house. Alex has been away with the army and when Tianna needed a place to stay after her divorce he gladly offered for her to stay there. When he arrives home he tries his best to stay away from her because she is his best friend's sister. Tianna is attracted to Alex but years of her husband killing her self esteem she doesn't think he will ever want her. They both realize they are attracted to each other and they begin to know what pleases each other. A jealous ex may just come between them and rip them apart.
This is a short easy read that has plenty of steam. There is some small BDSM but it isn't in any way bad and it doesn't make you feel like Alex is trying to control Tianna. In fact he is giving her what she has always wanted and could never have. From the start you can see these two are meant for each other. They both help each other recover from all types of hurt done to them. If you are looking for a short steamy read I would say give this one a try.

An erotic, engaging tale of two people who have been caught in the evil people do to one another with war. Tianna has endured her ex-husband's Traumatic Brain Injury in the hope of healing and restoration of their relationship, all to no avail. Alex is home on leave after being injured, not only in body but in his soul with the loss of some of his men in his outfit in Afghanistan. These two people have longed for some kind of normalcy in their lives and Alex has had his eye on Tianna for years, in spite of her marriage--a relationship that Tianna's brother never supported. Alex would never make a move on her, but now, coming home and finding her in his house (where she had been house-sitting) his attraction to her and her to him has finally overwhelmed them both. It is a hot read but there are some very good issues at the heart of this tale and it serves as a look-see into the experiences of people who will forever be changed by war and its effects.

A believable short story of love and lust, fear and trust. Tianna has wanted Alex for years but he has always treated her as a little sister. Being her big brother’s best friend leaves Alex in an awkward situation when it comes to his desire for Tianna. They each have to decide if the pros outweigh the cons when it comes to having sex or a relationship. I enjoyed reading their story. I loved that Tianna wants and needs to be dominated, but is unsure how to let Alex know. And her vulnerability makes the story more believable. Great short story, with some steamy sex and a hot, sexy military man! Gotta love those muscle men in military fatigues! And I love the cover of this book - I'd want to give it a try just from the cover picture.

Touch Me Book Review
I am so lucky to have received this galley!! This is a sizzling hot book, submission at its best. This book sees a broken woman made whole...and then some, when her twin brother’s best friend, Alex comes home. After her husband turns abusive resultant of his head injury while in the army Alex lets Tia stay at his house, the woman who has had him going crazy with...lust for years, when he returns home suffering an injury things heat up. A cute/sexy read always a deadly combination, you’ll root for Alex and Tia, wanting them together. Truthfully however, after you’ve read this book the names may fade but the ...acts will always stay. Another Knotch on my Head board!!

A sweet and possibly educational romance.
It was sweet because it was a pretty fabulous love story. The war hero and the girl he's always crushed on but thought was off limits.
It was potentially educational because of the experiences of the female protagonist, Tia. Escaping from a once wonderful but now abusive relationship is something that many women have had to face. Ms. Croix wrote Tia's situation in a way that made it understandable and showed the strength she needed while also portraying the circumstances that had caused her husband to become abusive.

I recommend this read for anyone who loves a happy ending and wants to learn what some Women go through. Alex caters to Tia’s feelings and loves her for what she fantasizes. Some Men don’t understand that. Sometimes you have to let the Woman decide what she wants…believe me; not all Women like to be the dominated kind they prefer to be submissive.
I look forward to reading more books from Callie Croix soon. I also thoroughly enjoyed this book because it takes you into a world of actual circumstances that could happen when someone returns from War and such.

This was a great quick read! It was well written, I loved the characters and although it was short it didn’t really feel short at all like most novellas do. Tia was a great female lead character. She was strong even though she had been beaten down by the ex and when it came down to it she opened up and got what she wanted. And I really liked Alex. What a sweetie and yet still very masculine and dominating. I love that they both always wanted each other but never knew. The ex husband made me mad but there’s no wonder to that, he was a mega jerk. I do not like men who treat women like that at all, I don’t care what kind of brain injury he had. Over all, great read. I give it 4 stars.
