Nancy was going to hold her man down no matter what if he liked it or not. I loved part 2 of Tears of a Hustler. G-Money was like a hard headed little brother to me but I still think about his murder. I still love my new favorite author Silk White

Damn this was a page turner. I hate what happened to Gmoney, however now I looking forward to Ali getting out eventually. Now Knowledge out of the game and his homeboy gone. Who is going to lead the army of bandits? And when will Detective Neilson & Bradley's reign come to an end? I guess I will have to get book 3.

The Game Don’t Stop

Part two arrived not a minute too soon. I just wish the sequel wouldn’t have taken so long to come. Trying to remember where part one left off was a bit challenging with so much time passing. Once the memory came back I was off and running. The whole gang is back and the fact that Ali is serving life hasn’t stopped anything, well just temporarily.

G-Money is holding down the fort and making power moves. With a new regime on his mind gone are the old ways of Ali and now G-Money is in charge. With new business to tend to and old business to finish, there’s not a dull moment. Readers will be thrust into the action. With Detective Nelson still being a thorn in his side and Rell a rival (and how could we forget Big Mel?), will Big Mel have what’s coming to him?

Nancy is holding Ali down even as he does his bid. While away, he is still running things - at least in the prison system because leaders never follow. Little Ali is growing up nicely. The pretty picture is not all it’s cracked up to be as we all know there is nothing cute about being behind bars. Big Mel still walking around and Detective Nelson still trying to bring down the rest of the rest of the crew make this a nonstop page turner to see who is going to come out on top.

Author Silk does a great job on keeping up with the characters, staying true to part one this is right on track and the story that I loved so much has continued. I can’t wait to see how he brings it all together and then to see what he has for us next. I just hope that he doesn’t keep us waiting too long.

I actually found G-Money hilarious in this one. His asking Nancy about COCO after he'd thrown her out of his crib for confronting him about his cheating, pretending as if he didn't care about her when he actually had/That mirror scene where he was verbally admiring himself/ The Hottub Scene with COCO after they Made Up/His trying to flirt with Pauleena at the club, etc. I found G-Money MORE TOLERABLE in this book than in Book 1.
I was glad that He & COCO made up after The Terminator had savagely dumped her.
I found myself sad at the Demise of Gerald G-MONEY Williams in the manner in which he'd met his end.

Grammar terrible

The book was interesting it took longer than my normal 2 days to read this one. The grammar was terrible the incomplete sentences before jumping to another part of the story. These writers need to take their time with good editors instead of trying to get out the next book to leave us on the hook waiting for the next installment. The quality and a good story line is what readers want and will purchase not the rush jobs.

IM THINKING (contemplating)...There must be a different story aside from a quite "BOSSMAN"(gangster-top exec) name Ali ???waiting ...waiting...I mean of you want to write to ya Patnaz(friends) on the block or in the pen(prison) then GET AN EMAIL/some paper or something...THIS IS WORST THAN CARTEL 3and I SURELY DIDN'T THINK THAT WAS POSSIBLE!!!!

When I read this book my expectations were extremely high for suspense and emotion. The beginning of the story was exceptional but until I got to the middle of the story I began to get disappointed. I didn't like how Ali and Gmoney were locked down because of someone who was suppose to be their protection. I will not be reading the next book in the series.

OMG

Omg I couldn't. I stopped at 30 something percent. Book 1 and 2 could've been combined into one. I read book 2 thinking it would get to a good part but boy was I wrong. Some many unnecessary characters that had little to no point to this story if that's what you want to call it. I'm done. I would NOT recommend this book to anyone. I was forced to give it one star...

Typical "hood story". Terrible editing but a lot of action. I did read the whole series just to see what happens. I would've preferred a little more substinance but overall the book is ok.

I read the Kindle Edition. I have never been a fan of books with 2 or 3 parts, but after reading Part 1 I did not want to stop. Great story.
