Twisted.
I actually read this book in one go and thoroughly enjoyable it was,except for the appalling typos, which were on every page! Hence the four stars. Likeable and vile characters helped to make the story and I am going to read the next book in the series and pray for a proof reader!

Awful
I was impressed by the positive reviews for this book and the sample promised a good read. However, it was one of the worst books I've ever read.
The baddies were completely over the top. If a patient behaved as Rod did in hospital, he would have been sectioned.
The goodies were nauseatingly twee. Whoever heard of a ward sister allowing a patient to keep a bottle of whisky in his locker let alone pouring it out for him.
The description of the characters was repetitive; I lost count of the number of times Vera and her daughter were called small, dumpy heavy etc, etc.
There were many typos and grammatical errors which did not help the story to flow.
I would not read another book by this author.

An excellent thriller.
This book was addictive and difficult to put down. I really enjoyed enjoyed the twists and turns. It was very well-written and I can recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.
