Protagonistas: David Grant y Serena Donavan Argumento:
Friends to Lovers is a very hard trope to pull off. Though I enjoyed the author's witty voice, this romance was just okay. The stakes? Don't know her. It was just a lot of talking lol. A lot of the action was skipped over. Not the sex scenes though, those were quite spicy but even that couldn't save this book.
David and Serena were opposites in every way: she's the quirky vegetarian, artsy girl and he comes from a long line of Old Southern money. Like the preppiest of preppy. Their friendship shouldn't work but it does, until Feels get involved.
Plenty of the dialogue did make me laugh out loud, but it's never a good sign when you are relieved to finish a book. I'd still give Hqn Temptation another read but maybe find a different trope.
