"Magic & Memories - A Collection of Short Stories" is a great book for little readers. It is written by the author Ann Parker and illustrated by Harvey Padmore. This book is a collection of 20 rhyming verse, short stories.
In the story 'Letter to Grandpa', a little boy Freddie writes a letter to his grandfather telling him that he is thankful to him for all he has done. Also, Freddie is happy that he would soon see his Nana and Grandpa.
"Slow down, Alfie Brown" is a great story about a super fast kid named Alfie. All his life, people kept on asking him to slow down but Alfie didn't listen to anyone. Read the story to know more. This story teaches a valuable lesson to the kids that God has made all of us unique in some way and we shouldn't listen to those who try to slow us down from achieving our goals.
These stories are unique. Kids would be able to relate to these stories. I appreciate the author's choice of topics for these stories. My nephew enjoyed these stories with me at bedtime. I am interested in reading more such books by the author in the future. This book is for kids of the age group 5-11 years. The language used in the book is simple. Kids can understand it easily. Parents or grandparents could give this book to little readers as a gift. Kids would be delighted to read these stories.

"Magic & Memories" is the book that first got me interested in the works of author Ann Parker. This author has a fun, quirky, yet often heartfelt style that I enjoyed. "Magic & Memories" is a children's book, but there are many stories that will also delight adults. I would recommend it!
