On the Development of Developmental Psychology

Guided by the premise that developmental psychological should demand of themselves an increased reflectivity on the activities of their discipline, this volume focuses on the recent past, the present, and the projected future of developmental psychology. The editors have opted not to provide a straight history of the field but rather to assemble a collection of papers on various aspects of developmental theory and method, each dealt with from a historical perspective.
