Since he was born, death and misfortune have followed Eric Talbot. Pursued as an adult by both human and supernatural forces, he begins to get answers to questions he was always afraid to ask and to see the larger pattern at work. As the lines of this dark pattern begin to converge, Eric is forced down a path that may not just mean the end of him...but of Everything.
Would have given this five stars if it wasn’t for the choppy beginning of this story. Each character was introduced with little connection to the others (finding this as Faircloth’s style). Once the story started to develop and the connections made, the story flowed and kept me reading. The introduction of God and the. inevitability of good always besting evil was a new take from his previous reads. Reminiscent of Ted Dekker’s books.
Brandon Faircloth has woven a masterful tale. How many strands of life can connect at various times, what one choice can impact so many on such different levels. I wholeheartedly recommend you read this one.
