good fast read. I like they way each chapter was concise and to the point and stayed in a narrow area of focus. the only thing I didn't get was that the author kept referring to keys and I could not find those...aren't things like that usually in a separate section in the back? if you have just been informed that you have a gifted child, this book is a great starting point
I felt like there wasn't much to this book, yet I did keep finding some specific helps that I think would be good to implement, or ideas I need to keep in mind with my kids. I might have given it more stars if it were the first book I read on the subject...
This book is a good introduction with some helpful anecdotal insights. It is a quick brush of the surface, however, and would not be that helpful for someone who already has read several books on the subject.
This was a very basic book, covering many different topics regarding gifted kids, but none very deeply. I think it is a nice overview, but not really enough information to help.
was a bit out-dated. it seemed to tackle the issues facing parents of gifted children, but not many detailed solutions. a good book to start your journey on reading about this topic.
