I so wanted to like this book better, but with homosexuality and rape in it, plus the story dragged on - it was hard for me to continue reading - I just didn't like it.

I feel kind of cheated but the title clearly told me there was another book after this one :)

This was a High Fantasy book with snippets of the Dark genre intertwined. It wasn't much but it was enough to catch my eye and keep me interested.

I don't know what to say about this story...but, if you like Fantasy novels and you like a good twist or turn in your book, this is it.

I look forward to reading the conclusion.

An ambitious attempt at creating a fantasy world populated by all kinds of mythic creatures, heroes and villains.

Except it all seems to be a background for a romance novel.

Not for true fantasy fans.

Also, the Kindle Edition is full of spelling and grammar mistakes.

I'm sorry but I could not get through the first chapter. It is possible the book was not meant for me to read it. So my rating of a one should not but construed as this is a bad book but one that was not for me.

While this book had a fine plot, I absolutely hated the ending. It said, " Their journey had begun." I read through 500 pages to get to THAT?
