I especially enjoyed Section I - The Yankee Disposition, Section II's Newburyport's Haunted Schoolhouse, Section IV's Juvenile Bewitchery, and Section VI's A Hand Aboard the Horton and Frozen Death.

This book is a very interesting collection of stories about the weird, legends and ghostly tales in the area of Massachusetts, NH, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut. There are stories of vampires, ghosts, pirates, witches and all sorts. It is a pretty good collection and the stories are quick to read. I enjoyed it a lot.

This book is a collection of stories from the Yankee Magazine. Different and strange but I found it on my bookshelf and cleaning the shelves of old books is my goal this year. I am achieving my goal.

An interesting if eclectic collection of paranormal articles from Yankee Magazine, kind of in the same vein as the Beth Scott/Michael Norman "Haunted America" series.
