When Hank and Poppy get stranded in a cabin during a winter storm they spend 5 days getting to know each other and finding love. I really liked that Poppy chose to wait for marriage to have sex and she didn't back down from her own personal truth. Hank is a retired NFL football player turned rock star lol. But he was a sweet, big, bearded, hunk. He flirted shamelessly and pushed Poppy for a fling but instead they got to know each other. There were a few things that were pretty implausible but I just ignored them. As short stories do, the plot was rushed, especially the ending. But I loved these two and their sweet HEA. Safety
Paper Husband 2 stars
This was crazy angsty and featured the older H who says really unforgivable things to the young and innocent h. The H has been divorced for 10 years and still imagines himself in love with his ex-wife. He marries the H to help her since her father died, but more importantly, so she can help him fend off his ex who is coming to town. I had no respect for this H, a man in his thirties who has his head shoved so far up his butt that he still loves, lusts, yearns for his ex. She was a real prize, a woman who withheld sex, enjoyed tormenting him and left him after 2 years for a friend of his who was richer. She's shallow, selfish and a royal pain in the rear, but he is blinded by his dick true love and doesn't see, even after 10 years that she did him a favor. And our poor h is thrown into this mess, with a man who doesn't know his own mind and heart and who consistently chooses the ex over her. *sigh* In the end, the romance was nice, he comes to his senses, grovels, and they get their HEA.

Christmas Cowboy 5 stars
This was the best story in the book. Second chance romance where both the H/h were celibate during the separation. The 8 year separation makes my heart hurt but it was a sweet, romantic story. The brothers were a so funny and crazy.
I Liked this one and still surprised of the ZERO reviews!! 5 stars for the frequently use of direct speech throughout the novel which I like the most also search for before picking any novel.
P.S: it was a gift from my father but I'm completely sure if he was aware of what it was all about he wouldn't think of choosing it but he was in hurry then :)
I read this book separately. Because I purchased each and every story one by one.
I love Redbird, expecting more angst though. Christmas Cowboy is good. And overall this book is good but not exactly my favorite. Because the stories are short and lack of details. They could be so much better.
This is an anthology with 3 stories. These three stories coincide with other diana palmer books. Sutton's way should be read before you read the 1st story! The 2nd is set in Jacobsville and is one of the owners of the feed store in Jacobsville. The 3rd story is also set in Jacobsville about the Hart brothers. I am not familiar with them. Overall i enjoyed each story, they were short but got to the point. There is some sexual content. One book you should read!
In 2005-2007 I read so many of Diana Palmer's books. My ex's mom had a lot and that got me hooked. She is an excellent author and I just enjoyed them. Especially the rancher, texas, farmer themes plots and stuff.
Well when there's three stories in one book, the only way I figure to do this rating is 5 stars for each story. Come on, it's Diana Palmer, I don't think I've given her less. I love her books.
I liked the first and the third story the best. Please keep just n mind some of these titles are part of other sets. I just like seeing the Hart brothers.
Loved the happily ever after. Droid and Corrigan were 8 years in the making. Misunderstandings and emotions tore them apart. Thanks mostly to his conniving brothers, they got together.
