I read this in one go this morning before I got started on my next Intrigue book.

It was amazing - for all the wrong reasons!

Linda is on a cruise with her cousin Carol. The girls quickly learn there is a stowaway on board. Soon after, Linda meets Billy. Of course, he's the stowaway, but Linda falls into a romance with him, excited by his dangerous side. Silly Linda!

Billy soon shows his true stalker colours and Linda is actually pro-active about ending things with him. Of course, Billy won't leave her alone. Then begins one of the most jaw-droppingly insane protracted battles between protagonist and antagonist that I've ever witnessed!

This book was just bat-shit crazy! Bonkers! It's badly written and doesn't make a lick of sense from start to finish and EVERYBODY MUST TRACK IT DOWN AND READ IT RIGHT NOW!!!

How can my next book possibly live up to this?

It is that time of year which now belongs to Libras so I figured a good time to read Never Love A Libra in the Zodiac Chillers, the fifth installment.

Linda Sellers, Capricorn, is going on a two week ocean cruise with her cousin Carol to San Juan, the Caribbean and all that jazz to try and get over her break-up with her boyfriend Greg.

She meets some other teens (or young adults I don't think it is made very clear): Tommy, Kevin and his girlfriend Marla and Justine as well as the ship captain, Jim.

Jim and Carol are love at first sight and well Linda meets a guy too. His name is Billy Jackson and he can't stop staring at her but it's not like Linda really minds. Turns out he's a Libra, into astrology like Linda, and they are soon spending every moment with each other.

Linda gets notes warning that Capricorns and Libras are not good for each other. Soon we get to see that Billy has a temper, Billy likes to be in control and Billy is up for a wild time.

Linda soon learns that Billy is a stowaway upon the ship, ironically called The Libra, but she and her friends keep the secret. Linda doesn't even tell Carol and all of this excitement is intoxicating...until it isn't.

When Billy goes too far, Linda decides that they need some space. That's going to be hard on a ship out at sea because Billy isn't willing to let Linda go and soon she'll realize it isn't smart not to love a Libra...

If I make it sound interesting...it's not.

We get hints that Billy's Libra scales aren't balanced. Someone doesn't want Linda to be with Billy...it's very obvious who that is as you read the book.

Those parts aren't too bad but you keep thinking we've seen the last of Billy and the book is almost over yet it just...keeps...going.

Soon all of the other characters except for Linda, Carol, Tommy and Captain Jim seem to lose some brain cells. It's obvious that one of the remaining trio isn't dealing with a full deck of Tarot cards and again it is not hard to figure it out...the readers are not dumb.

There really is no reveal, no twist, the climax is thrilling but then the ending just...left me shaking my head. I don't know if I was more disappointed or confused or just miffed.

Probably all three.

This is not the best entry in the series. I like Kamida's style of writing but the plot became too repetitive. I can see why after Pisces Drowning this series fizzled out.

If you want to have the whole series as a collector that's fine but I couldn't really recommend reading it more than once but again...that's my opinion.

Four down...two to go.

The story was ridiculous. I kept finding myself groaning and laughing in not a good way. The beginning was fun but then the story took a stupid turn and it fell apart. Characters made stupid decisions and annoyed me.

Not too terrible. It does have some suspenseful moments and the main character does seem level headed thought not much character but this book is just meh.

The killer's already known so there's no suspense of guessing who the killer is. The plot's uninteresting because this and there are moments where nothing happens.

Also whenever the killer's already known, there's fake outs of whether the reader's think the killer's gone but he comes back which adds to my frustration.

There's also a lame twist about the villain's accomplice but it just seems thrown in just for the sake of twist.

This book wasn't that horrible as it has its perks but it's just plain in writing that I can't recommend this book to anyone.
