Janice Stevens is an award winning author whose work has been frequently featured on Valley Public Radio's "Valley Writers Read." Stevens also teaches memoir writing to military veterans and has compiled two volumes of military service memoirs by San Joaquin Valley veterans. In honor of her work with veterans, Stevens has received the Certificate of Award for Women in American History from the Daughters of the American Revolution.
This was an alright book. Nothing much happens until the last third portion where there is some drama and a dilemma for the protagonist. An average story at best. The characters weren't also that memorable for me.
This is one of the few books in the Sweet Dreams series wherein the girl doesn't lose herself in the romance. The down-to-earth nature of the story makes it much more sweet and adorable. The simple fact that the whole world doesn't revolve around Doug makes it worth it.
