Très intéressant sur le fond et sur le cinéma américain du XXe siècle jusqu'à 2001. L'auteur nomme et résume beaucoup de films qui ont marqué l'imaginaire des américains et explique pourquoi, et surtout comment l'industrie cinématographique et les agences nationales de sécurité intérieure et extérieure sont étroitement mêlées.
