A cute little picture book with realistic illustrations describing a day in the life of a young elephant. The book itself is just the right size for curious little hands but does have paper pages (not a board book). A nice introduction to elephants for young children and I particularly enjoy the quality of the illustrations, which are often missing in what few non-fiction toddler books exist.

I saw this in a museum gift shop ... elephants were my favorite animal for a while, so I indulged my curiosity by getting this from the library. It's about what you would expect — cute with a reasonable dosage of facts about elephants.
