In a society where many issues remain ‘Taboo’, young Alyssa struggles to find her own identity. As she enters university, her attempt at living life in the fast lane ends tragically. Immediately following her death, her distraught father is given her journal as a keepsake. Little does he know that the journal he received would contain the missing pieces of the puzzle surrounding his daughter’s whirlwind life and her untimely death.
I loved this book. It highlighted a lot of challenges that young people face today. It gave me a rollercoaster of emotions and kept me hooked. Love that it was by a local author as well.
