presentation The Planet Friendly Diet was brought into the world back in 2008, when I moved my training camp business into a weight reduction retreat (Whistler Fitness Vacations). Ladies were joining our live-in program for 1â€"12 weeks to zero in full time on shedding pounds and getting fit â€" with food a necessary piece of it, I really wanted crisp learning material for the sustenance courses. These visitors were as much as 200 pounds’ overweight, frequently dependent on sugar and handled food sources. Very unique in relation to the very sound training camp customers I’d worked with for the beyond a decade! I needed to acquaint them with our West Coast kale and chia-seed world, creating some distance from the government’s food pyramid/rainbow.
I found this book to be very helpful and informative. I love the simplicity of the writing. Dr. Livinggood was honest and genuine. I could hear his concern for the health of his readers. His plan is easy to follow and I know will help those who do it.
This is basically just a practical guide to nutrition from a christian nutritionist. He has easy-to-use exercise routines, easy to prepare recipes, and a guide to a positive mindset which is always appreciated. I'd recommend it to anyone who just wants to start their health journey, and wants some advice. He is a Christian, so if you don't like to hear about faith, and reading the occasional Bible verse reference, then this might not be fun for you. But all things said, his book is pretty good, even without supplements.
I think this doctor is spot on. Going to doctors and taking the medications that they recommend is okay but it's not healing us. What will heal us is eating and living right, not treating our symptoms. The hard part comes, in actually doing it! It takes a total commitment and discipline.
This is a great book to be used as a guide to quitting sugar, moving more, managing stress, and getting your healthy vegetables. I read it in less than two hours.
