Deciding to pack up and leave the only home I’ve ever known wasn’t an easy decision, but it was a necessary one. I needed a fresh start. A place where I could keep my past, as unbelievable as it was, a secret. I’ve allowed my new friends to talk me into exploring an abandoned, supposedly haunted asylum… After what happened a year and a half ago, I swore I’d never dabble in the paranormal ever again. But here I am, waiting for my friends to show up to go explore this creepy place. I should have followed my gut. I should have just said no.The past I’ve tried so hard to keep a secret is in danger of coming to light and I don’t think there’s any way to stop it.

A lover of animals, it’s no surprise that Cheri has what some would call, a zoo of animals. Also on her down time, she enjoys spending a day on the water, fishing with her brothers.

I really enjoyed Spring Meadows by Cheri Marie. For a novella, this book packed in so much and kept me hooked from beginning to end. Addy and her friends decide to explore the abandoned Spring Meadows insane asylum to communicate with spirits, but things quickly take a dark turn when they attract something evil that refuses to leave them alone. What made the story even better was Addy’s connection to the paranormal from a tragic experience in her past. It added more depth to the story and made everything feel more intense.

This was definitely one of those books that gets extra creepy when you’re reading it alone at night. I easily give this book 5 stars ⭐️ My only suggestion is that I would love another book showing what Spring Meadows was like before it shut down because I need more of the backstory. I seriously can’t get enough of Cheri Marie’s books.

Let me start off with what a good book this is! I couldn’t put it down.

However, you will be going through a rollercoaster of feelings! I certainly did, but I had to keep reading to know what was going to happen next.

Also, do NOT mess with ouija birds.. this is a perfect example of why you shouldn’t. ;)

Spring meadows was a great fast read, not her typical write. BUT i NEED more of those short Novella paranormal stories. It was an amazing read. Soo good even my son picked it up
