This book is related to the other book by the same author: Ex Best Friend
Unfortunately, due to the similarity in the setting (reunion), the two books have similar plot that gives us an impression of formulaic plot with some changes. In this one, the main characters, Lee and Darren, actually were boyfriends once. Darren, however, later cheated on Lee and decided to stop being gay. It turned out he had been seeing Brenda for the last three month. What's worse, Darren had chosen to tell Lee on the first anniversary of their relationship. Lee was heart broken . Darren left for Los Angeles and married with Brenda. Many years later, they all came to the reunion. Darren came with Brenda. Lee tried to at least say hi to Darren, but the other man didn't even seem to acknowledge him at all. What should Lee do?
This short story suffers from wanting to have a complicated plot but not enough space. As a result, it becomes unrealistic.
