But running from their pasts was never an option.

Fearless ex-army hero, and leg amputee, Cole Tanner (Codename: Cobra) hacked into his first computer when he was twelve. That reckless action pitched him into an underworld that’s had him on a knife edge ever since. When Cobra cracks a supposedly unbreakable system, he gains intel on a shipment that could provide answers to the disasterous mission in Antarctica that he and his Alpha Tactical Ops team have failed to solve.

Cobra and his team launch a covert mission onto a freighter in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. But trapped in the rusted hellhole, they are severely outnumbered. Cobra discovers a fiery redhead hiding from the chaos and she turns his world and his heart upside down when she unwittingly reveals a secret that proves the ruthless killers on the massive ship are the least of their worries.

I am loving this series and this time Cobra finds the love of his life in an action packed, fast paced story that takes us onto a freighter in the ocean, will the team finally find their man will they finally find the answers they are looking for as Cobra rescues the woman he is meant to be with.

Yasmin Saunders is being held captive on board a freighter because of something her father has done, her life is turning upside down but she will never give up she is determined to get out alive and make sure that the guys who are holding her pay for what they have done.

Hawk arrives at Alpha Tactical Ops headquarters asking Cobra, elite computer hacker to check up on a freighter this leads to lots of questions and maybe they will get some answers to their mission that went wrong in the Antarctic, but when the team board the ship they find a woman being held captive, a fiery red-head who Cobra takes an instant liking to, he feels very protective of her and searching the ship together the sparks fly in more ways than just guns and explosions.

Cobra has a lot from his past that will always haunt him and getting close to anyone is not a good idea, he knows that at any moment him and anyone around him could be in grave danger so he needs to push Yasmin away, Yasmin though has also been through so much in the last few weeks she is a strong woman and will never give up and her heart is opening up to Cobra in a big way.

This is another fabulous installment in this series, evil Mr Chiu is back at his most horrid and again the team fight as they know how and seeing Cobra open up and fall for Yasmin was so good and Yasmin is going to be so good for Cobra they make a fabulous couple, they say opposites attract, bring on Hawk’s story, I do highly recommend this story and the series.

My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.

I really enjoyed this book. It is full of complex alpha war-torn men and sassy women. It is fast-paced, action packed and will get your blood pumping, in excitement, and the sexual tension runs high.

Shadow Mission is the fifth heart-pounding book in the Alpha Tactical Ops series and one that should not be missed.

Kidnapped and trapped in a ship for over a month, planning revenge the entire time. Trapped, she learns of her father's betrayal. Ops sets off on a mission to capture the ship; when they arrive, all hell breaks loose.

I am still riding the high, so I am off to get lost in the next book!

Another addicting, military romance I read through in no time! Cobra and Yasmin are amazing together. I loved their chemistry and especially how strong their characters were in this book. I was not at all disappointed and can hardly wait for the next one in the series.

Hang on tight…

Kendall Talbot never fails to take you on a hair-raising, white-knuckled adventure and with this story about Cole (aka Cobra) and Yasmin, she pulled out all the stops. I won’t even attempt to give you a synopsis of the plot because I don’t want to spoil your fun. Just know that you won’t get bored, you may need a cup of chamomile tea, and you won’t want to stop reading for anything (and I mean anything). I have always wanted to know more about Cobra – he just seemed like a guy with a backstory and boy, does he ever have a whopping backstory. When he meets Yasmin sparks fly, knives fly, bullets fly and the story just keeps speeding along with danger, adventure and twist after turn to keep you frantically flipping pages. Shadow Mission is exciting, satisfying and full of surprises. I can’t wait for the next story in this highly addictive series.

I was provided with an advance copy of this book, for which I thank the author, but I am sharing my honest and unbiased review on a completely voluntary basis.

Kendall Talbot keeps the action and the romance explosive in each installment and I was excited to see the team hacker, Cole, gets his story this time. Like the others, he has a boat load of baggage to unpack and I was curious to see who would be his special someone.

Shadow Mission is the fifth of the series that is made up of standalone romantic suspense adventures that tie together with the background series plot and recurrence of the team and previous love interest characters.

So, Cole isn’t like the previous team members in that he tends to do his magic through the computer systems and technology. And, unlike the others, he came to the military when he was forced in or do prison time for getting caught hacking. His past has led him to not think much of himself so he has no idea what a capable exciting woman might see in him and definitely doesn’t want her tangled up in his ongoing horror show of a private life.

His opposite is Yasmin. Her father’s sins are passed down to her and she’s taken prisoner. But, she doesn’t wilt or hope for rescue. She’s a capable woman with agency and goes about rescuing herself. Her past has taught her to depend on and trust no one so she doesn’t make it easy on Cole and gets up in his grill and anyone else’s. Action heroine material right here.

I love that each book has its own unique action setting and situation with this one going out on the water on a freighter where the villainous Chui was holding Yasmin captive and coming back around and following up on a situation introduced in book two about that tantalizing Russian sub and gold plus some answers to the distant past sitch back in their military days. Yasmin gets up to speed quickly to work with Cole and the team encountering the escalated danger of hunting their nemesis down.

Shadow Mission focuses strongly on the mission and romance development is crafted as part of that. The romance does wrap up with Cole and Yasmin and the book ends things in a good place for the series plot. I am parts satisfied, tired out from the excitement, but oh so eager to push forward into the next installment. Action-loving Romantic Suspense fans really need to put this series on their wish lists.

I rec'd an eARC via BookSprout to read in exchange for an honest review.

My full review will post at The Reading Frenzy June 19th.

Well Cobra got his girl, I've been waiting for Cobra's story and it was once again a non-stop, full-on action-packed read with violence, crimes galore and bad guys everywhere in the 5th book in the Alpha Tactical Ops series.

The first book Escape Mission sets up the series whose storyline carries through; the trauma the team previously experienced on their last military assignment was caused by a group called Scorpion and they are determined to hunt them down. They have since discovered the crimes and bad guys they've encountered on their last four missions as private group Alpha Tactical Ops are somehow connected to what happened to them during their last military assignment.

This time we find out who Chui is and he's one crazy-ass guy and his dealings with the tactical ops team, which haven't gone as planned seeing as they are all still alive, have driven him even crazier. His obsession with the gold has seen him go to great lengths to find and recover it, but the Alpha team are nothing if not determined to stop whatever he is doing.

Finding themselves on a freighter trying to uncover what it is hiding, they discover Yasmin who has been kidnapped along with a slew of bad guys out for blood. Cobra and Yasmin have an instant connection but being surrounded by bullets and bad guys mightn't be the best time to start something, or maybe it might be the only time if they don't make it out alive.

Yasmin is a pretty tough lady and has been through hell whilst being held hostage on the freighter, things go from bad to worse for her and she has a lot of emotional fallout to deal with. Cobra has a past he's been running from but which might be about to catch up with him and this spells danger for anyone close to him.

Both are dealing with some heavy things and neither thinks now is the right time to start something. But like magnets, they are drawn to each other and as events play out they need to decide whether to follow their head or their heart.

I enjoyed the adrenaline rush of hanging out with the Alpha team and I'm so glad we have some answers, but I'm thinking their next mission will be just as dangerous as those they've survived, especially because they have no idea who they are dealing with anymore. I'm also wondering who Hawk really is and what her secrets are because I don't entirely trust her. I guess I'll have to wait until the next book to find out more.

While this can be read as a standalone and Cobra and Yasmin's story is contained in Shadow Mission, more clues are thrown up about Scorpion and the gold bars during this latest assignment, some questions are answered, but there are plenty of unknowns waiting to be discovered in the 6th book Rogue Mission (coming soon).

Stealth Mission, #5 - It was great to get back to the missing submarine and the gold bars again. Yasmin is a very likeable character; Cobra comes off a bit "unmanly" sadly, his thoughts are not the usual team player. Unfortunately, there is an over abundance of vulgar language in this book, which became distracting and overwhelming. First time I wanted a Talbot book to end. Otherwise, the story was interesting. Source: Booksprout. 4*

Alpha Tactical Ops Series:
Escape Mission, #1 - I love every book I've read so far by this talented author. This book is full of excitement, danger, intrigue, good characters and good story lines. There is romance, too. The romantic are always in heat, and that's a bit distracting in several places in this book. I have a hard time believing a professional soldier, Special Forces Ops to boot, would let T&A interfere with his planning and thoughts when they are about to get involved with some bad business that could get them killed. She is out of her experience field and should only care that part filling out the seat of his jeans is keeping her pants safe. Otherwise, this is an awesome read! Multiple stories all well blended into a hard to put down read. Although flawed, from battles, the crew is a bunch of likeable, realistic folk. The civilians have their baggage, too, but go well with the rest. Not many of the baddies are known but even baddie Marcus is OK. 5*

Hostile Mission, #2 - Begins two months after Escape ends. Told from Levi's point of view, his romance, too. Interesting. Intense. Intriguing. Lots of action and events running through these story lines. An old enemy rears its ugly head while the gang works a job on the South Pole. Some hairy bits that add to making it hard to put this book down. A new love; new jobs; new characters. 5*

Rescue Mission, #3 - More fun, action, excitement and romance are found in this story. Hard to put down. I skip the sex scenes and edit out some of the vulgar language but any book by Ms. Talbot is worth reading. There is plenty of happenings for Ghost and Neon adding to their romantic beginnings. Well blended are the old story lines with the new. 5*

Stealth Mission, #4 - This series has been a great ride so far. The old story line of Scorpion and the unknown enemies blends well with the new story for Viper and his teammates. Besides a new romance, there are a lot of secrets, surprises and more questions. Well written, well thought out and fun to read, the talented Ms. Talbot gives us another entertaining, action-filled story with her brand of romance. 5*

In each book of Kendall Talbot’s Alpha Tactical Ops series she centers her story around one member of the team. In her latest, Shadow Mission, it is Cobra’s turn. The unit was formed by a group of ex-military members who were released from service after a disastrous mission. Cobra was the only member of the team without a military background. As a teenager, he was a hacker who committed a crime that resulted in his family’s murder. After giving testimony against the murderer, he was given the choice of jail or military service. He assumed that he would put his computer skills to use, but was assigned to the former unit. While his responsibility within the group is now primarily computer based, his acquired military skills also include him in the missions that they accept.

While Shadow Mission has all of the action and romance that Talbot’s readers have come to expect and there is enough background given to welcome new readers, this is a part of a series that is best read from the beginning. The group is on mission of their own to discover what was behind their failed assignment. A freighter off the coast of Australia holds some of the answers that they are looking for. It also holds Yasmin, a kidnap victim who is being held captive to force her father to work for Mr. Chui, their main adversary. Their assault on the freighter brings Cobra and Yasmin together and ignites feelings between them. Cobra has been a loner and there are events in his past that threaten any relationship but he may now have found something worth fighting for.

Talbot’s series has allowed her readers to get to know each of the team’s members strengths, their weaknesses and what makes them such a strong unit. While she resolves some of the problems that they faced, she leaves you with an idea of what is to come and I can not wait. I would like to thank Kendall Talbot for providing her book for my review.

This is book 5 of the series, and is technically a standalone although the characters and storylines do thread through the series.

I haven't read any of the previous books, and I had no problem catching up with the story and how it was playing out. I did struggle a little at first with who all the main characters were and how they linked to each other, especially with them all having call signs too, but I managed to follow along until I figured it all out.

Cobra/Cole is a genius hacker, who served in the military instead of a prison sentence, he doesn't have the same confidence in his own combat skills that the others do, but they are still his family. Yasmin has been kidnapped due to something her father is involved with and is unknowingly pulled into everything. Both have interesting pasts, and Cobra's is always threatening to come back and haunt him.

I loved that Yasmine was a bada$$, she wasn't a damsel in distress that needed saving but she managed to kick some a$$ whilst she was held captive and also when the team arrived.

The book was all about the mission, and I enjoyed how detailed everything was. Things don't always go the way they planned, team members get hurt, they do some things wrong and the bad guys sometimes getting away - it just makes the story even harder to put down as you really don't know what's coming and you can't help but get caught up in everything thats happening.

Cobra and Yasmine had an instant attraction, but he doesn't want to pull her into the mess of his past, however, things don't go to plan. These two were great together and I like how their relationship played out.

Although I haven't read any of this series before, I do want to read the next book to see what happens.

Supremely action-packed!
Alpha Tactical Ops team member Cobra never thought he would end up like he did in this amazing story. It brings back something that was missing which was found by accident deep in a glacial iceberg from an earlier story in this unbeatable series –something that had stolen goods from back in WWII. In the previous book there were ruthless people of power who would stop at nothing to get their hands on that goods. And so the story about those greedy killers continues here with yet another nail-biter that introduces a new tough lady who has been taken hostage over the same goods that a few others had gotten their fingers onto. This story is so captivating it kept me up more than half the night! Cobra has an artificial lower leg he lost in a more recent war, could this guy who battles with confrontation and is basically a nerd with computers end up losing his heart to a wilder fearless woman? How will he and his tactical ops team get out of this messy situation alive – it all looks so hopeless… Who is the big shot at the top wanting it ALL? This will keep you guessing until the end – no avid reader should miss reading this amazing series from the very beginning! Each ‘Mission’ book tells a lot about each Tactical Ops member - you learn simultaneously all about who they are and how different they are, yet all work together so perfectly. As an ARC reader for Talbot I will honestly say that you CAN’T NOT love it! Five stars absolutely – wish I could give it more!

Alpha Tactical Ops book 05, Shadow Mission by Kendall Talbot is one more rip-roaring adventure with Cole (Cobra) Tanner at the forefront. A flawed man with demons to fights, a past that keeps him always looking over his shoulder, yet he is a true hero. While the team is on a covert mission, they face unsurmountable odds tied to the last disastrous one but also meet Yasmin Sanders. She has been held for ransom but is not shirking violet but instead one tough incredible female. The action is hot, the romance even hotter. This is another story that never slows down but speeds up to the exciting finish. The romance is forever but the final mission is far from complete.

The team has taken on despicable evil villains. No one can write villains like Ms. Talbot! So appalling that they surpass even Ian Fleming’s, another great villain creator. Very impressive but scary too. Of course, I am always rooting for the team.

Hold on to your hats as Cobra, Yasmin, and the entire Alpha Tactical Ops team go up against some of the scariest ever. I am not sure I would call this a true stand-alone novel. Having read the previous book enhanced my enjoyment of Shadow Mission.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher/author through BookSprout which I voluntarily chose to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Shadow Mission is the fifth book in Kendal Talbot’s Alpha Tactical Ops series. This is an alpha military romance that is suspenseful, action packed, and filled with intense passion and fantastic characters.

Yasmin Sanders has been struggling to survive since she was kidnapped because of her father’s mistakes. Now she knows too much. Cole “Cobra” Tanner, hacker, former army hero, and leg amputee has been hiding from his past for ten years. When Cobra and his Alpha Tactical Ops team board a freighter in the middle of the Pacific Ocean he never expected to find someone who makes him want a happily ever after. But the past always has a way of rearing it’s ugly head.

Past choices are haunting them both, but can they build a future together from those ashes? Or will the need for vengeance destroy them before they get their happily ever after? Read it and find out!

I love Yasmin and Cole together, their connection was instantaneous and intense from the start. They both excite and sooth each other. Alpha Tactical Ops is a series of standalone books, but they are best enjoyed when read in order as this series includes interconnecting characters and storylines from the previous books. I can’t wait to read Hawk’s story!

The hits keep coming against this team but as each new mission gets completed, one of the members finds their mate. This one centres around Cole aka Cobra, the computer genius who isn’t like the others, he doesn’t like the front lines, preferring to stay behind the computer screens. Their latest mission carries on from a previous one, and once aboard a freighter they find themselves in the middle of a cluster and a kidnapped woman, Yasmin, who is no shrinking violet. Yasmin has been kidnapped because of her father and now over twenty days being trapped on the boat, she encounters Cobra’s team. The hits keep coming for all of them, especially Cobra….he finds his woman but first they have to make it out alive and survive his past that he has been running from all these years.
Another fast paced, thrill ride with plenty of action and suspense. Secrets are revealed, a mystery is solved but not all of it which means there is more to come and I can’t wait. I couldn’t stop flipping the pages, Cobra and Yasmin had the sparks and connection right from the get go. Little to no drama between them, which I loved, add in the strong independent Yasmin and finally getting to know Cobra’s secret past…loved it.

Another mission For Alpha Tactical Ops, Hawk wants the team to go an checkout a freighter in the area Cobra uses his skills on the computer to help them figure out what is going on with this ship since it was suppose to be destroyed years ago. When they get aboard they encounter some strange happenings, but for Cobra it might be very rewarding as they recover a kidnapped young woman being held by the captain she is very vengeful when it comes to the two animals on the ship and she took every opportunity to prove it too. Yasmin didn't know what was going to happen but after the run in with the tactical team she thought they might have a chance but all that changed when she called her dad. They were engaged in mortal combat on land and sea. Yasmin and Cole made their way below decks so she could show him what she found. She picks up on a lot of info from Captain Rory while trying to save himself that will come in handy much later. Hawk, Yasmin, and the team come up with another plan to snare a mastermind. Action-adventure, danger, suspense, violence, and love. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This latest installment of the Tactical Ops Series focuses on Cobra, the team's computer/hacking genius. Although Cobra looks badass to the world, he was made to join the army in lieu of serious prison time for his hacking. Cobra is also constantly looking over his shoulder in case, Olivia Lucille Sainte Angeles (Blood Angel), the woman who murdered his family, is somehow free from jail and on his tail. Meanwhile, Yasmin, has been kidnapped and held prisoner on a derelict freighter because of gold that her father has stolen from the evil Zihao Chui. When the team heads out to take the freighter, MSC Poleena, Cobra and Yasmin become locked in a to-death-struggle while wrestling with their growing feelings for each other. This book is a great read, and while it can be read as a stand alone book, it begins to bring together the tale of the Tactical Ops Team and their quest to get justice for the devastating ambush they were subject to many years ago. I would definitely recommend this exciting, steamy novel. I received this book as an advance readers copy from Booksprout.

A great addition to the series! Although it can also be read as stand alone, because enough of the back story is filled in to follow along.
In this book we get to find out Cole's, aka Cobra, secret, and boy is it a doozy! You are not left hanging though, there is a happy ending for Cole. Which brings us to Yasmin, an independent woman and badass in her own right. While they work on their secrets from the past and battle to survive the present adventure, they also try to figure out if they can make a future together.
Great characters continue in this series and we get to know them a little better. There is also a lot of action; gunfire and explosions on ships and subs, and fireworks between Cole and Yasmin. We also get closer to finding out who is behind the disastrous mission in Kyrgyzstan and the German gold.
There are a few typos and grammatical errors but definitely not enough to make you stop reading.

Our hero is good at his job, but our heroine just might be more than he can handle. Or she might be exactly what he needs. They can figure out the difference, if they can survive this mission.

This is book five of the series, but it is written as a standalone. There are references to characters and events from the past book, but nothing essential to this story.

This is a romantic suspense story with an ex-military hero. The story is well written and easy to read with a fast moving plot that has more than its share of complications for our hero and heroine. The characters are well developed and have a lot of depth to them, including some past traumas that make it rather angsty at times. Fortunately, there is plenty of action to keep things focused and the slow burn chemistry between our characters is fun to watch. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable story and I can't wait to see the next book in the series.

Highly recommended.

I had mixed emotions about this book, but ultimately have to give it four stars. It takes the team back to the hidden German gold, missing submarines and vicious, greedy characters. Cole was originally in the military because his other choices were prison or death at the hands of the Blood Angel. Because they are the only family he has now, he would die for the team and do whatever is asked of him, but his mindset is different from the others. When they encounter Yasmin held captive aboard an enemy freighter, they must work together for them all to get out alive. The story has the non stop action as the other books with explosions, bullets flying and unending suspense. I also loved how it was a two part story involving the missing gold and then the encounter with the Blood Angel. What detracted from the book was some of the sides to Cole's character. Some I liked, others were so so.

This is the 5th book of the series but can be read as a stand alone. There is enough information about the on-going plot for a new reader to appreciate it too.
I really enjoyed discovering more about Cobra and how different he is from what you would expect an ex-army guy to be like. Yasmin is such an awesome character and kick@ss woman that she will fit right in with the rest of the group! I did get a bit teary-eyed a couple of times finding out about both their past. While I got closure on a few bits from the on-going plot, I cannot wait for the next story to uncover more!
Great book if you like action, loyal friendship, romance in dangerous situations and a bit of conspiracy added to the mix.

Warning: This book could be read as a standalone, but it makes more sense to read it as part of the series. This story has lots of action in it and some people might be upset by the violence that is portrayed a couple of places had me squirming. The heroine in this book doesn't take any crap from anyone including the hero. I loved it. She was very spunky. The hero has his own demons to fight and tries to protect her from getting too involved with him. The Alpha Tactical Ops team comes one step closer to learning who has it in for them and maybe we will learn the answer in the next book or two. I am looking forward to reading more about these people because they intrigue me and so does the mystery they are involved in.

Another fast-paced storyline with plot points that are an all out adrenaline rush from beginning to end. This series has tracked the Alpha Tactical Ops Team as they encounter a number of bad guys that are trying to recover a massive amount of Nazi gold.

In this adventure Cobra/Cole Tanner and his teammates board a decrepit freighter carrying hundreds of containers that made clandestine stop at Antarctica. After boarding the ship the team discovers Yasmin who has been held for 20+ days after being kidnapped.

The connection between the independent and feisty Yasmin and Cobra is immediate and so much fun to watch unfold

I’m eager for the last book in the series which will include the mystery of the Nazi gold.

This is the fifth book in this wonderful series and while it can be read as a stand alone it will be a far better read if you read the earlier books as there is an underlying story throughout the series

Cobra(Cole) always feels like he doesn't quite match it with his tam mates he isn't as skilled militarily as them his skills are more behind the keyboard in fact that is what led him into the military after hacking the wrong thing he was given the choice of prison or the military. Now he has been dragged into the rescue of Yasmin a woman been held responsible for the lost gold her father was involved in. Yasmin is capable of protecting herself but even heroes need help sometime What they didn't expect is that feelings would flare between them Can they get of the ship they are trapped on and build a future You will have to read to see

each book took me to different places. Antarctica, an island, a small town, and in this story, the town intertwines with this plot.
I adore kendall Talbot's writing. It's paced and laced with action and suspense. her humour is so Australian as is the dialogue.
The plotline is so clever as it gives me romance, steam, angst, fun times, and belly laughs.
Viper is the grumpy alpha, and i had fun listening as his shell cracked and Harper wriggled in.
Vipers' world is simply wonderful.
You have to want to enjoy Australian dry humour and the Australian accent to take a shine to this series.
Antony is wonderful, and Justine, although not aussie. does a more than decent performance.
I'm just loving this series . thanks kendall

The Tactical Ops guys know there’s something hinky going on. They are convinced they know where that submarine that everyone else thought they were imagining, is located. Not expecting boarding an old freighter would have them taking on their old nemesis again.
WWII gold bullion! Wouldn’t we all love to get our hands on some, and Mr Chui is planning to grab the lot. Well not if the Ops team, and the rescued Jasmine have anything to do with it.

Love the quirky lot on this team, and this was a great story that had plenty going on and of course a HEA. And boy if that Mr Chi was chocolate he would have liked himself LOL.

Cole is part of the Alpha Ops team but is a hacker and a good one. Coming across some vital information that leads to a mission on a freighter, he comes across Yasmin, a prisoner who was hiding out.
Wow explosive and fast paced action that was so vital to the story. I love those books. They ring all the bells and I get swept up in the action and romance.
This was no exception.
Cole and Yasmin really had the chemistry though not acting on it so much. This story was all about the mission and their relationship was an imperative part of that.
Excellent story, great character and an amazing team spirit you can't help but love. Just a wonderful exciting read!!.

This was an exciting storyline. The Alpha Tactical Ops decide to check out a freighter that lies off the coast of Australia. The story focuses on the lives of Cobra, who ended up going into the military to avoid jail time and Yasmin, who's been kidnapped and held captive in the old freighter to force her father to work for Mr. Chui. Mr. Chui happens to be the nemesis of the Alpha Tactical Ops team. There is fantastic chemistry between Cobra and Yasmin. There is plenty of action, suspense, violence, secrets, mystery, twists/turns, passion and finally love. Great story and an looking forward to the next book in this series.

Another fantastic addition to this series. This is Cole/Cobra’s suspenseful story. Yasmin has been kidnapped because of the actions of her father and is being held on freight-liner by an overbearing warlord. She’s forced to do his cooking and cleaning and must follow his exact instructions. Cobra is the team’s elite hacker and they board the freight liner. When he discovers Yasmin in the bowels of the tanker, the attraction is instant but he has a lot of past baggage that he has to overcome. A well written and developed storyline that is fast paced and action packed. The characters are perfect for one another. This one will keep you up and turning pages into the wee hours of the morning.

This "Mission Series" is amazing!! I'm a huge convert and absolutely love the characters coming to life - each with their own personalities and quirks with a lot of 'spice' added amidst the chaos of life in the special operations forces for hire. I never knew I would love these kinds of stories so much but I'm a HUGE fan and am just pouring over the final 'episode' of the series. I know that I already feel as thought I've lost members of my family when these books are completed. Kendall Talbot is on top of my list of favourite authors. I was totally hooked on her "FATE" series and didn't think it could get much better than that.....but now I am already lamenting the last of the "Mission" series. But - the good news is....she's got a new series in the wings.........;)

Cole ‘Cobra’ Tanner, team IT genius, ex-army and leg amputee is consumed by thoughts of the vicious woman who killed his family and threatened to kill him before she dies. Movie location scout Yasmin Sanders was kidnapped and has been held on a freighter for over three weeks; all she knows is it has something to do with her dad.

Hawk gives Cobra a location to see what can be seen, he sees a freighter but Hawk insists a submarine is there. Cobra looks again an sees the unexpected, enough for the team to go look in person. They find Yasmin, her babbling about her dad gives them a clue, one step closer to the reason their mission had gone wrong and Mr. Chui comes out of the shadows.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down, had to keep reading until the end. The main character Cobra was a man with a troubled past but was so likeable. Yasmin also has a troubled past but wow do her knees get a workout. I also loved how the author added humour to some tough situations. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves a story filled with adventure, humour and some spicy bedroom action. If you haven't read any of Kendall Talbot's books, do yourself a favour and start reading them now. Read the book in order!.
