Really enjoyed this book. Hero/heroine had history as teenagers but the hero left because of differences with his tough father. The heroine stayed and just broke her engagement with a safe guy who she didn't love. The disappearance of her grandfather and hero's grandmother throws them together again. The hero has lead a nomadic life the past ten years as a foreign correspondent. Both of them never had closure and being thrown together kind of brings things back. I loved the rekindling of old feelings that never went away. The hero's globe-trotting career is a stumbling block but it went away. I loved the resolution and the couple. I think her ex-fiancee has his own book which I plan to read soon.

Fun book. I really liked both Bella and Damon, though both had their issues. Bella finally realized that she didn't love Kent and they called off their engagement. When Damon appeared and told her that her grandfather and his grandmother had disappeared together, she made the decision to go with him to find them. This got her out of town and away from gossip, but put her in close contact with her first love. Bella had been playing things safe for a long time, and this was her chance to break out for a bit. Damon couldn't believe he had suggested she come along. He had left her all those years ago to protect her from himself. Now he was seeing glimpses of the girl she used to be, and knew he had never stopped loving her. Both of them were trying to protect themselves and nearly gave up their chances for their happily ever after. I loved the epilogue!

I do love a good story about second chances, and this is a great example. When Damon Cavello roars back into Bella Shaw's life, she knows it will probably be trouble.

But a family problem makes her forget her recently cancelled wedding and hop into Damon's red sports car and head out on a road trip across Australia. It's a fun, exciting adventure for Bella, who's played it safe for so long, but unfortunately it brings back all her unsatisfied feelings for Damon, and she has a horrible feeling she's going to get hurt again.

Can Bella and Damon have a happily ever after? Or is it simply not to be?

This was a great fun novel. The characters had issues, but they weren't massively deep which kept the book light-hearted and a very easy, yet engaging read. You could identify and sympathise with the characters, too, which makes it a book you'll remember for a while after reading. Recommended for romance fans.

Runaway Bride was okay. A bit cheesy and cliché at times but I enjoyed it nonetheless. :-)

The second story (the first was bridesmaid says 'I do') in this series. The title is a little misleading on this one. But I like the story and the characters
