About the author

Dr. Walter Wink was Professor Emeritus of Biblical Interpretation at Auburn Theological Seminary in New York City. Previously, he was a parish minister and taught at Union Theological Seminary in New York City. In 1989-1990 he was a Peace Fellow at the United States Institute of Peace.

This is a really good overview of some of the best brief essays on the power of nonviolence, and then things it can accomplish in every part of a persons life. From Thich Nhat Hahn, to Cesar Chavez, to Gandhi, to King, to everyone in between. This book serves as an excellent introduction to the ideas of nonviolence, as well as a solid resource for scholars.
