About the author

Forrest Peterson and his wife, Marilyn Sjotvedt, live near a small town in central Minnesota. After attending college and working in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area for 14 years he took a reporter job at the West Central Tribune in Willmar. He served as editor for 15 years before leaving in 1998. Currently, he works in communications with a state agency. He graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul majoring in history, and later received an MA in journalism and mass communication from the University of Minnesota. He currently is working on his second novel.
