She didn't know her real name...

And the streets were her home. But Jane Rhodes knew that she deserved a roof over her head, a job, a better way of life. She'd struck out from the blustery streets of Chicago, hoping to reach sunny California, but a blizzard had trapped her in Rawlins, Wyoming. Dazed, half-frozen, she was rescued by a caring man who insisted that she stay awhile--at least until spring.

Duncan Tate's llama ranch provided a safe refuge, and his arms a haven. But Jane could not rest until she solved the mystery of her past. Who was she, and where did she belong? Would she ever find home?

Duncan meet Jane one very awful night in the middle of a snowstorm. She turns out to be a mystery because she has amnesia after an incident that she can recall. It a lovely story, sometimes too sweet for my taste but the truth about Jane comes out unexpectantly and finally they can be happy together

Until Spring is a gentle romance with a mystery to be solved. From the opening chapter, the reader is drawn into the story and at first I assumed that the book would be violent, but the only violence was a 10-year old dervish who wrecked havoc in her wake. Jane Rhodes has total amnesia and for some months has been living by her wits, not knowing where she came from or who she is. When she lands up on Duncan Tate's ranch, she has reached the end of her endurance. It is at the ranch, under the protective care of Duncan and his extended family, that Jane regains her health and some peace of mind. Nevertheless, the need to know who she is hounds her, until eventually Duncan agrees to assist her by retracing her steps. Men like Duncan are few and far between, protective and yet unassuming. However, that doesn't mean that he didn't feel deeply or is without the capacity to love. Jane on the other hand, doesn't know what kind of person she is and finds that she has to take her cues from the people she is with. As she struggles to find balance in her life, her gentleness and caring nature emerge and she wins the love and respect of those around her. The central figures in this story are both lovable, as are brusque Rooney and rambunctious Mary Kate. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.

Ms. Browning has created a wonderful story that includes a mystery as well as a romance. Jane Rhodes has been barely surviving on the cold, mean streets of Chicago. She has amnesia and can't remember anything about her life before she was found in a ditch in a rural community several miles outside of Chicago; she had a severe head wound and no information that could help the small town Sheriff's department determine what happened to her. Some good luck does come her way after she determines she needs to find a warmer climate and try to build a better circumstance for herself, so she is trying to make it to California. She is stranded in Rawlins, Wyoming by a truck driver that she's hitched a ride with, because she refuses to consider what he wants in payment for a hot meal and the ride. She is rescued later that night in a snow storm. The kind rancher's name is Duncan Tate, and he and Jane embark on a journey that changes the meaning of family for both of them The secondary characters, Duncan's friend and ranch hand, Rooney and his granddaughter Kate are well developed and interesting in their own right. I will read more by this author. She hooked me with the first page of this novel, and I was a fan by the end of the story.

Oh wow what a book! I loved everything about this book. At first you really can't see where it's going but then after the first chapter you are drawn to it and what it is written about, I've never read a book like this before and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
You get thrown off a few times but all in a good way although I really wanted to shake Jane really hard a few times but then I felt like that about Duncan a few times too. You could imagine how Jane felt not knowing what things were especially emotions, how could you with no memory to learn from. I read this from start to finish in a day with a late night at the end but I was that close I wasn't putting it down.
I loved this sweet romance that has a lovely storyline of people meeting by chance. I think the idea of it was brilliant and so will written, I'd recommend it to anyone that likes a good read with romance thrown in. Well with a read indeed.

Until Spring is actually a romantic suspense novel. There's a waif-like young woman who suffers from amnesia--true amnesia--with no memories of her prior life. There is also a good looking llama rancher with very little understanding of what women want...and a ranch foreman who is raising his 10-year-old granddaughter. Put all these pieces together and you have Until Spring.

It's a very sweet story, with a really good plot. The characters are richly developed with great personalities. This is definitely a good read for all!

It is a very beautiful story that speaks of learning to trust others of the importance of family.
the heroine Jane has lost her memory for 18 months and has since lived in the street for the Impossibility to work without documents. And after a series of events he finds himself rescued by Duncan breeding Lama.
Over time, Jane learns to trust him and his extended family, Rooney and his niece Mary Kate, but will only be happy after rediscovering who she really is.
Beautiful story with a mistery

I received this book from eBook Discovery in exchange for an honest review.

I recommend reading this book for a great love story between two people that have had their ups and downs, obviously it was worse for Jane than Duncan. This story is completely heartfelt and my heart went out for Duncan and Jane. Duncan is such an amazing man to begin with, but every step of the way in how he was so caring with Jane made me love him even more!
