The dark side of fame and celebrity is a subject that Jannette McCurdy who was a child actor and Nickelodeon star knows very well.

Jennette McCurdy, who as Sam Puckett in the popular Nickelodeon series iCarly Miss Drago, was one of the most famous young performers on television at the age of just 15. She was referred to as the hilarious BFF by her countless followers. She claims that, despite her effervescent on-screen demeanor, her real life was not amusing.

Though starring in shows like iCarly and Sam and Cat together with Ariana Grande, Jannette opens up about her eating disorder in her latest memoir “I’m Glad My Mom Died”.

Aside eating disorder and its addiction, she also talks about her frosty relationship with her mom. In fact, she bears it all in her latest book “I’m Glad My Mom Died”.
