I have been following this series from day one and I have such a soft spot for these emotionally constipated brothers 😍
Plot:
Dallas does not expect to run into his yearly bedmate while on a mission in South America. Her presence there confirms that the woman he’s been sleeping casually with for the last five years has more secrets than he anticipated.
Gemma is shaken when she runs into the man that’s been stealing all her thoughts. When her mission ends in a bang, quite literally, she has no choice but to go with Dallas.
As the two try to escape multiple assassination attempts, can they overcome their differences and develop something more than a simple night together?
My thoughts:
This is as fast paced as the other books in this series. It’s full of constant action, chemistry and angst. I devoured it in one sitting- who needs sleep anyway?
The story is intriguing and the characters loveable. There isn’t much of “who’s trying to kill them?” Or too many angsty-questions but it’s an easy to read romantic suspense. It hit the spot just right for me.

You'll want to buckle up for this fast-paced action-packed romantic suspense
Dallas thought it was his lucky day crossing paths with his very elusive, very smoking as sin annual hook-up Gemma
And boy did the fireworks come
Only not quite the ones he was hoping for
I was flipping between "OMG no", "come on you got to see it", " OH you didn't" and "holy hades hand me a fan"
I dropped into this series with this book and had no trouble following
Gemma was a strong female who could take control of a situation when she needed to
Dallas was a snarky take no prisoners level headed alpha male (mouth full)
Highly recommend it - I will be reading the previous ones as I am now all kinds of curious about the brothers

Great action and romance.
This was a great story. It was full of suspense, had a few nail biting moments and of course there was plenty of romance too.
I loved it, hopefully there are plenty more like this in the author's future.

Wow! This is heart pounding, action packed story. I can’t believe I never read about this series.
Gemma has come to Dallas once a year to have hot sex and then slips away in the past few years. They don’t know much about each other. But their chemistry keeps them connected. Dallas just spots Gemma in a hotel in Colombia where he is on a job. Then ensuing bombing, jumping out of a crashing airplane, chased by killers through Amazon jungle, doused with gasoline to be burned to crisp, I don’t know how anyone can handle all these threats within a few days. All through this, Gemma maintains her kind heart to not hurt innocent and protect Dallas. She doesn’t give up and keep fighting. She is not a trained fighter, but she is smart, resourceful, and has a strong will to survive. Dallas doesn’t give up on Gemma either. He has found his person and he will never let her go. If not for Dallas’s will to rescue Gemma, she would have been long dead. There are tender moments between the danger when they talk about their family and past, which makes the characters are more real and attractive. She is a regular girl with bad luck. He has a dark past and tight bound with his brothers. This story blurs the line between good and evil, right and wrong. Working for government agencies doesn’t always mean the action is on the up and up. Illegal weapon traders are not always cold blooded and heartless. There are a lot of grey areas in between. What a thrill to read this story!

From beginning to end this story is nonstop action, intense situations and enough suspense to keep your eyes glued to the page/kindle screen!
Gemma is an CIA informant and while in the midst of a job she is accosted by the last person she expects to see in Cali Columbia, Dallas the man she seeks out once a year for incredible sex. Dallas is shocked to see the woman who has had him off balance for 5 years stroll across the hotel patio.
A bombing in the hotel, narrow escapes for both Dallas and Gemma, hit men, treks through the Amazon and more keep them more than occupied. I loved the fact these two barely know each other outside of the sheets, but they have an incredible connection and easily fall into a partnership.
I would love to have had more background on how they met, and how their yearly one night stands became a thing.
This was my first book by Samantha Wilde, but I’m definitely intrigued by Dallas’ brothers! Cole’s story definitely is on my radar to be watching and waiting to grab.

Fast-paced, suspenseful, dramatic, and dangerous are all words to describe this steamy romance. Gemma and Dallas may have been occasional lovers, but there had been very little talking between the sheets. In fact, after a number of years, they hardly know anything about each other. Thus, Dallas is ejected from his comfort zone when he sees the beautiful Gemma swanning it through the hotel lobby of the hotel he is staying in, and he refuses to let her out of his sight. What could have been a reunion turns into an explosive disaster with both Gemma and Dallas on the run. Their flight takes them into the jungle where they discover friends are few and enemies plentiful. The dynamic between Dallas and Gemma is electric and their love affair is off the charts, but whether they will outrun the hit that has been put on them, is debatable. However, the one factor Dallas can be sure about is the backing of his brothers. I received this well-written book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. Wow this was action packed!
Gemma and Dallas have been hooking up for years or rather - once a year when Gemma would show up unannounced and disappear just as fast. So it comes as a surprise when Dallas sees Gemma across the room in Cali. Both on a mission, neither aware what the other does for a living or that their missions have one, major thing in common. Soon they're on the run trying to survive while dealing with the growing emotions between them.
This book felt like it was a movie. It was so action packed and hot. Gemma and Dallas are both use to being the one that takes care of things so they struggle quite a bit but thats all part of the fun. Lots of twists and turns and a multitude of characters that you don't know if the characters can trust.
Definitely reccomend this whole series. Every book has been filled with amazing heros and heroines with hot chemistry and high stakes.

This book was an action packed adventure full of sexy steam. Gemma is an informant for the CIA and once a year gives in and goes to Dallas for her one night of Pleasurable fun. For five years she has been making her way to him once a year and he wants more but she always slips away. When he is on a mission in Cali Columbia he happens to run into his yearly fling and is more determined then ever to figure her out and find out what secrets she has been hiding. When her mission goes south and she fears for his life things take a adventurous turn. This book is a wild and crazy ride through the jungle can they get past all the secrets and survive people trying to unalive them. You will fall for these two as Dallas is all alpha protector but Gemma can also take care of herself. I loved their journey and the ending was perfect. Can't wait for the next book. Absolute fantastic read. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Gemma Turner got herself into some trouble when she was younger and now is an informant for the CIA. Her job takes her all over the world. Dallas Holmes has had a rough life and has turned to a job on the other side things. Normally they meet up once a year to hook up. Well this year they both turn out to be in Colombia at the same time for their own jobs. Dallas insists on talking to her and fireworks ensue and life becomes suddenly crazy.
This book is action packed and keeps you on your toes. It is definitely not your run of the mill romance novel. I read it as a stand-alone book and was kept informed of everyone’s life to keep up and not get lost. I do think it would be interesting to read the other books to find out more about his brothers, I am pretty sure they will keep you on the edge of your seat as this one did. Entertaining read.

Exceptional Romantic Suspense Story
Samantha Wilde has written another intriguing romantic suspense story that was impossible to put down once I started. Dallas Holmes and Gemma Turner’s hot steamy romance is intertwined with thrilling action, danger and suspense that had me captivated from start to finish as I routed for their survival and HEA. It is well written with strong characters whose mercenary and CIA backgrounds just do not mesh, but make fast paced thrilling story. The “Blood Brothers” Series is one of my favorites series by this author and now I cannot wait to read about the last brother, Cole Holmes, in “Marked”.

The best thing about Samantha Wilde is that each of her series are totally diverse. This high-octane thriller turned out to be a quick read with intense highs and gut-wrenching lows. Characters Gemma and Dallas test the reader's patience throughout this novel with their will-they-won't-they approach to the thought of a life together. Could a CIA informant really choose the antithesis of the very thing she's fighting for? Could love possibly conquer all? Life isn't sunshine and daisies, and Wilde paints this with conviction through each chapter. If you're looking for something that will get you through the upcoming chilly autumn nights, this book is definitely it -- find a comfy spot, because you'll be on the edge of your seat the e.n.t.i.r.e time!

This book gave me a book hangover! It was so good. It started off with a bang (quite literally!) and didn’t let up for a moment. I was completely drawn into the story and couldn’t put it down till I finished the last page. The main characters, Gemma and Dallas, were both fully drawn, interesting leads. And the action was absolutely nonstop. The author did a brilliant job of keeping me on the edge of my seat and eagerly turning the pages. I was only sorry to have it end. I love when authors write intelligent, interesting, mature characters and Gemma and Dallas were fantastic. I cannot wait for more from the “Blood Brothers” series. I highly recommend this one.

This was an action packed story with lots of unexpected twists to keep you interested. This was part of a series but you wouldn't need to read the other books to follow along. Gemma flip flopped between being capable and competent and helpless female. She didn't seem to be cut out for the job she supposedly did for 6 years. And the CIA relay fumbled their job since they messed up twice. You think they'd be better.
The spicy scenes were great, dialogue was good, and story line flowed. There was enough of a tease of the other characters that I'm interested in reading the other books in the series.

Fast paced and steamy!!
This was a great read, tons of action, lots of detail!! Dallas and Gemma are strong characters, that keep coming back to each other in their lives. The chemistry is hot, the details given for the places they are traveling to felt like I was there. There were unexpected twists and turns and I was never able to guess what was going to happen. This can be read as a stand alone, I have read the first, but have missed the last two, but was still able to enjoy this story. I am looking forward to Cole's story though. Great read that you can't put down!!

Samantha Wilde never disappoints to deliver just the perfect combination of action, romance and spice. Just like its predecessors, this fast-paced story of Dallas had me on the edge of my seat. I especially love how the author always finds a way to include the other Holmes brothers into the story and I love the bond that the brothers have between them. Overall, this was a very thrilling and spicy read and I can't wait to read Cole's story!

I totally enjoyed this book of the blood brothers series! It was non stop action and suspense. Gemma finds herself in trouble and runs into Dallas, her on again off again bedmate. The two together were hot and with the non stop action, I flew through the book quickly. I would highly recommend if you like romantic suspense! I received an advanced copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

This is my first from this author and I can see myself definitely picking up more in the future.
Dallas and Gemma's story is filled with action, plenty of twists and turns to keep you flipping the pages. From the very first page, I knew this was going to be something that I wouldn't be able to put down. I mean come on, a mercenary and a CIA informant? Yeah, a lot to unpack there, so worth the read!

Book #4 of the Blood Brothers series takes you on one wild ride… with nonstop action, danger, twists and turns, suspense, angst, and steamy chemistry that will keep you hooked and turning the pages. Dallas and Gemma were just terrific, both likable, engaging, and when you put these two together their chemistry is combustible. If you’re a lover of romantic suspense, then I highly recommend this book and series.

I have never read anything by Samantha Wilde before. This was an action packed thriller; what happens when a CIA informant and a mercenary cross paths? There are so many twists and turns, that you can't put it down. A MUST READ!!
